Greetings to the Tohaa High Command currently invading our base, It seems after failing to take our B-Huts, you are now going straight for our Tower. Which you would have to remind the Ariadnan people and the Human sphere as of why you think you have the Casus Belli to do so? You are attacking us on our home world. Which makes you look like an Invader to the Ariadnan people. In the first campaign we helped you establish a medical facility on Flamia. So it is a bit hard on our people, to see you be such an aggressor on our proud folk. Your willing to die again and again against our defenses. So what is the strategy in that? We have gotten several reasons from you, and intel we have intercepted on you, that give us a clear understanding of your motives. The Tohaa reasons for attack on Ariadna: 1. Ariadna are traitors from the Wotan Campaign. While the Combined Army ship, the Raxora, entered human space. Ariadna attacked the Hyperpower. Ariadna already defeated the Combined Army at the Aleph side of the station Ariadna was holding at Wotan. But that was not enough devotion shown to the Tohaa of defeating the True Enemy. Even after we already made clear that Pano would be strong enough to take the Raxora on its own, the Tohaa would rather see Ariadna do a futile attempt at the Raxora, then finally taking care of the biggest Faction always getting the upper hand in these kind of conflicts. And it has proven that the balance of power in the human sphere was shattered after this conflict, with the number two, Yu Jing having to face a civil war. Tohaa would like to see the Human Sphere unbalanced. 2. We were a threat to the NA-2 whom the Ariadna most hated. Ignoring our attempts to make peace with both the Tohaa and the Japanese. The Tohaa knew for sure that we were going to attack the NA-2. We never did. We were planning on attacking Pano, months in advance. Attacking us together with the NA-2 proofed very futile and with wrong intel backing it. 3. No sorry, we are attacking you to defend Pano. You keep on the attack to help the Hyperpower, now? Are you a proxy like the NA-2? You are not in an alliance, right? Are you trying to get noticed by the Hyperpower? Adorable.... Which shines your number 1 reason in a different light. Are you trying to let the Hyperpower take over the Human Sphere. Attacking all their competitors. Yu Jing at Wotan? and now us at Dawn? 4. You are the biggest faction and that gives us joy to sticking it to you. Cause we now finally can. Which is the most honest one and a bit ironic. Cause last campaign we attacked Pano because they were the biggest and that made you really mad back then. Which rises the question, which of the reasons for you attack remain valid as of now: 1. We have launched our special forces on to Dawn-01 Aplekton because the Combined Army is pushing their efforts there. We are as of now attacking the True Enemy and keeping Aleph from having a base on our Homeworld. So we are actually doing what you want us to do. 2. Na-2 is in tatters. But we have no interest of intervening in the civil war of the Yu Jing and the JSA. We will fight anyone that tries to attack the Yu Jing, for we are allies. But as far as us is concerned, the NA-2 is no target for an Ariadnan attack. 3. Pano is being handled by the Yu Jing. They might be attacked by us, or they might not. Right now, the aliens are a bigger concern. 4. Is the only one that really sticks. Which we want to congratulate you on. You have learned from humanity and choose to become just like the Ariadnans. Always trying to fight the bigger dog. So its best to be open and honest about your true intentions. The only difference is that we never take on a dying strategy where you will never succeed in overtaking us. I think you got spoiled by those Symbio-Mates you always seem to carry around. There's no point in talking to the sepsistorised Tohaa who're attacking right after we moved to aid against the combined army. At best we should try to capture some alive for O12 to do research on, and collect the cubes for analysis.
It seems we've got Aliens that talk in our language and experimented on our kind, though nothing was ever proved, and Aliens that just shoot at us. At least one of them seems to maintain their primary objective clear. That is all I have to say about it, for now.
It is really interesting that we Ariadnans try to solve issues with all these trespassers and invaders when they before even opening a communication channel launch assaults, not to other factions but to Ariadna! But we will stay loyal on our ideals, our choice of talking before acting and protecting humanity or those in need. For all other categories get ready to feel on your troops the tesseum that all of you think you can lay your hands on it for profit!
Seems we have an answer from the Tohaa on the matter. They do not want to take the Lafayette Tower, they just want to keep us occupied. Because, as I quote their High Commander: "But we want a stronger PanOceania and Aleph in the Human Sphere, to face the CA"
That makes perfect sense. More cubed troops to mind control and the closest thing to the EI stronger so humanity will accept it's rule more easily... Gee I wonder, why would they attack the humans with the lowest uptake of cube implantation...
When this is how you conduct yourselves towards those with whom you negotiate, it is no surprise that only the deeply desperate "eternal rival" stoop to working with you.
Yu Jing haven't "stooped" to working with the Ariadnan Nation on their own land. It's the "hyperpower" that stoops by relying so heavily on using vassel states and mercenaries to fight its battles.
So Pano, the Tohaa and Aleph manipulated the JSA into a fruitless attack on Ariadna and when we call you out on it we're bad at negotiation. I think your cube is in too tight...
What are you winning at? Pan-O is 5th in total points, behind Ariadna, NA-2, Yu-Jing, and Haqqislam (three of those having less commanders than Pan-O) and lost HAS Area multiple times to Ariadna.
When fighting broke out on Flamia Island, the StateEmpire of Yu Jing advised caution when it came to the Tohaa. They are an alien power, what are their motives, their allegiances? Why when we study the dead of the Combined Army do we often find Tohaa amongst their number? These are questions which demanded answers, and we sought them through securing control of the Narooma hospital complex, so we might learn the truth about these aliens and ensure such medical facilities would be properly used to support the human soldiers on the front lines of Paradiso as they battle to save the Sphere from alien invasion. The Tohaa refused to accept our oversight. Ariadna chose to give them be benefit of the doubt, and joined in rebuffing our efforts... there is no need for acrimony over this on the part of the StateEmpire, for what is done is done. In truth, it is we who must shoulder blame, our diplomatic efforts were insufficient to make our case. For that we apologize to our Ariadnan friends, our failure allowed the Tohaa to manipulate you for their own ends, and it is only now their actions make the truth flagrantly clear. But flagrantly clear they have made it, and just as Ariadna has learned their true nature, the Tohaa will learn the price of betrayal is high indeed.
The price of betrayal is high indeed, as Ariadna should have learned during this confict. Maybe instead of launching threats, you could work on your diplomacy a tad better and avoid the emnity of your potential allies.
Well, this year we really tried to be social and diplomats, in our own planet. Instead of that we received a constant attack and no movement from our "natural" could be allies. It was a pity, but at least we learned well as you say, and next year will be nice again to show our development! Apart from that, i guess you like playing as a true Haqquislam, well versed diplomat, in our case, we play like true Ariadnans, Voronin style, what can we do about that? :p
Indeed, we've learnt that you'll betray us at the drop of a hat while claiming PanOceania's protection. There are factors in play you are almost certainly unaware of, so we'll continue to regard you with neutrality, despite your envenomed treatise.
Ariadna attacked Panoceania while Panoceania attacked the Raxxora. Perhaps we do not know what is happening behind the scenes but actions do speak louder than words. We in the Haqqislam courts perceive Ariadna in a less than favorable light due to their actions. While we would love to work with your diplomats, it appears the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
