Hey guys. We’re basically grinding games in Aristeia but this situation was a bit weird for us to figure out.

Basically, Parvati can draw LOF to Gata, so Maximus uses his passive to displace himself towards Gata, but now Parvati can’t see. Can she still resolve the shot? His passive says to display immediately after the DECLARATION of an action, not after the attack has happened. Can he even cancel actions like this? If yes, would Parvati have lost her 2 action points, despite never making the attack? We ended up playing like he couldn’t actually cancel the attack but he could still use his “Get behind me”, so rather than cancelling the shot he jumped out in front like “Nooo!”

    Kind regards.

    You played it right.

Parvati's action still happens, because Gata was eligible when it was declared, and she is still the target, even though Gata is now out of LOS. But now that Max is adjacent, he can allocate damage on Gata to himself.

So very much a case of "Nooooo!"
