Hello! I have a Local campaign game for this weekend with Morats. mission is L&S L&S for Tohaa ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 9 1 2 GAO-TARSOS Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 28) GORGOS Squad Chaksa Peripheral A . (2 | 86) GORGOS AP Spitfire, Flammenspeer, Pulzar +1 Chaksa Peripheral A / Viral CCW. (2 | 86) CHAKSA PERIPHERAL A Light Shotgun, Stun Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (7) SUKEUL HMG, D-Charges / Pistol, Breaker Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 35) NEEMA Lieutenant (Advanced Command) Breaker Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, Nanopulser / Viral Pistol, Shock CCW. (+1 | 46) MAKAUL Heavy Flamethrower, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 13) SUKEUL (Forward Observer) K1 Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Breaker Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32) MAKAUL Heavy Flamethrower, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 13) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) DIPLOMATIC DELEGATE (iKohl L1, Specialist Operative) Nanopulser, Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) 4.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army this is one of my plan. First. Gao-Tarsos is wild card for this mission. I'll drop him at first or second turn, placing D-charge at AC2 at once. Second. Sukeul HMG + Neema + Makaul is Long range Kill team. Third. Sukeul FO + Kaeltar + Makaul is last option. Fourth. Gorgos is main attacker in this roster. do you have any other ideas? please help me. my fellow Artichokes. ;)
Don't forget that D-Charges used against an AC2 require a CC roll, and you take a -3 CC when using D-Charges in this way. Igao is very good against the AC2, and there's no exclusion zone. If terrain cooperates you can be on it and CCing already within two orders. I have tried to make the Gorgos work and honestly it just never seems to pull through for me.
Sukeul + DA Makaul + Doesn't even matter is a good Triad for this. Eclipse up the table, can't be hacked, soak whatever mines/perimeter weapons your opponent set up, and then either MA2 or Sukeul d-charge that sucker down. Not too shabby on defense either. Plenty of minelayer profiles for some defense if your opponent goes first, and no shortage of strong AROs pieces.
AC2 can be damaged only CC mode of D-Charge? AC2 is scenery item and D-Charge has CC attack lable even if I using deployable mode. because deployable mode don't have CC trait on weapon chart? can you tell me detail about that? and yes.I think Igao is good for this task too.
https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/its-9-question-and-answer.469/ Any damage to the AC2 must be done by a CC attack. Edit: you found it as I was responding, yup!
So we had looting and sabotage in a tournament and if I remember correctly it was ruled that you can't use martial arts against it because its a scenery item and not an enemy unit. But still makaul with two others has burst 3 ph +2 against it, with its viral that can results in 6 armor rolls?
You can use Makaul's MA2 to AC2. and viral weapons lost their Anti-materiel. in L&S, we need to use DA CCW Makauls. :D
Ah yes DA Makauls and good to know that there is an official statement it was the ruling at that tournament but I am getting used to getting screwed at tournaments
Im not sold on this. If you want a long range triad there are better units for members 2 and 3. This is a good general use triad for advancing up the board.
No limited insertion game. That army list just one of plan. You are right. Lack of defence force is critical.
The Kosuil Minelayer may be worth considering for this mission because it will give you a mine on the table turn 1 to slow down a first turn rush on your AC2, and the Kosuil is also equipped with D-Charges.
