I bought some of the official decal sheets for PanO and YuJing to go with my Operation Kaldstrom figures... while I wasn't able to find sheets that specifically had all the unit-patches for the characters that came in the set, I was able to use generic faction decals for most stuff.

One of the things I have had problems with, though, which I'd like to solve, is a good place to get truly generic waterslide decals for things like arrows, stripes, danger symbols, hashmarks, numbers, and etc. to fit on the 28mm 'human' figures (e.g. not bigger figures like TAGs).

I know there are tons of decal sets for various models out there, including things like Gundam, but I'm worried that they might be far too big for non-TAG units. In the past I've had some luck with decals from 40k sets, but they tend to be too 'specific', as do decals meant for historical miniatures.

Likewise, I've considered printing my own decals, but I've heard this can be very finicky and I think the dpi for most home printers is not good enough for the tiny level of detail we're talking about. Not to mention I currently only have a laser printer and I don't want to spend $100s on a new printer and hours of work if there are good $5 sheets of decals out there.

Anyone got any leads? (I'm in the US)

I can't link due to forum rules but Warlord Games do a huge range of decals, most are aimed at historicals miniatures but some of the WWII infantry decals might be suitable.

It's possible to take a file to Kinkos or similar store to have them print it on a good printer. Not sure how much it costs though.

For those who are curious about what I decided, I ordered some decals on usagundamstore.com designed for the tiniest gundam models that exist, 1/144th scale, and just looking at them now that they've arrived, I feel like most of them that I'm interested in using will fit my Infinity infantry guys.

I also found that greenstuffworld.com has some generic-ish details with variations on numbers, danger symbols, lines, and etc. May pick up some of those at some point too.
