Due to latest pandemic precautions of government in Turkey, we had to postpone our regular campaign. So we began a new one, TTS campaign. Enjoy! Caravansaries are modern staging posts, stopovers and inns for space travelers and merchants that are located in crossways of the main space trade routes. They resemble orbital stations , asteroid colonies, or anything between them. They are neutral grounds where for commercial meetings, business negotiations, exchange of secret information, intrigue and espionage, or even diplomacy take place. Latest Sultan fond of art and architecture, had desired to create a masterpiece that will be admired for generations. He ordered the largest caravansary ever constructed to be designed by leading talented architects. Construction contract was outsourced to best Corregidor engineer company. The result was miraculous piece of art. Sultan himself fell in love with the caravansary, so he named it with his beloved daughter; Esma Sultan. Sultan’s counsellors advised him to use the caravansary to support Sultanate’s politic reputation. Sultanate would organize the first Human Sphere summit where major and lesser factions would have a chance to settle the disputes, end the conflicts, or raise their objections. The summit would be just before the annual O-12 meeting, thus would help attendees avoid interplanetary commitments, charges or paperwork. It was a total success, almost all the factions signed for the summit. And the event was nearly on prime time in MayaNet whole month. Hospitality of Sultanate was the top hashtag in social media. Even the Hachib was satisfied with event. What would go wrong now… Or would be?
CHAPTER: 0 - INFILTRATION “Are you sure? Are you sure that we should strike to that ship, Shasvastii?” The voice of the Suryat was filled with dislike and disgust. “Yes, our intel and analysis shows us that this frigate is the perfect vessel to board the caravansary… Morat!” The voice of the Mentor sounded sarcastic and insolent. “These humans are far trickier than the rest. They are always unpredictable, unstable and immeasurable. They always hide something under their sleeve. Why won’t we attack another target. More manageable and grant guarantee success for the mission?” “That’s why we should capture these ones. Even their kin cannot designate Hassassin Bahram faction. They are so secretive and closed society, they refuse to disclose themselves as much as possible. We will capture their ship, we will impersonate their crew. This will make our infiltration more easier.” “Be careful, Shasvastii! If you blow up this assault, you will jeopardize the whole operation. We will fail even before we start it.” The Suryat stared with mistrust. “Infiltration and espionage is our expertise, combat is yours. Morat forces deployed the Vanguard fireteam led by their Suryat on the east side of the ship, right on the railing at the Hangar side, the fireteam was facing some five camouflage markers on their retrospectively placed railings. Phylla with her Raicho TAG breached directly to the engine room with 2 Ikadrons and 1 E-Drone as her support, on the west flank was 2 Raktoraks and 1 Yaogat sniper as a fireteam, trying to cover the west corridor for any defenders. Bahram on the west flank had a Nadir on the railing, watching the raktoraks and yaogat approach, waiting to strike when it is time. The core fireteam consisting of Yara Haddad, an Asawira and a HRL Muyib was situatied right behind the Engine room to the north, with some camouflaged Farzans and their mines covering their back. Morat strike started aggresively with the E-Drone unlocking the Engine Room door, Phylla in her Raicho started mowing down on the unfortunate Ghulams and the Asawira with her Multi-HMG, killing a ghulam and asawira but getting damaged by the firefight with the Muyib’s HRL. Raktoraks went on and approached from the west side corridor, as they were about to open the gate Nadir tried to ambush them from the railing but the Yaogat was already in position to cover for that and shot the human down. One Raktorak breached the engine room while the other one provided cover against the west side main gate. Having caught unprepared Bahram forces tried to regain positions, east side at the hangard stayed in a stalemate while Muyip with the support of his fireteam managed to wreck the Raicho, but as he approached the Engine room he traded shots with the Raktorak inside, both of them burning eachother to death. On the west side a Ragik approached from the flank and tried to sneak up from the west side main gate, coming face to face with the other Raktorak, trading Vulkan shotgun shells to Spitfire rounds, they both met a similar demise. With the imminent threats neutralized Phylla dismounted her wrecked TAG and approached the room alongside the Ikadrons and E-Drone, once securing the room she provided cover for the E-Drone to start hacking the Frigate, while Ikadrons were positioned for point blank defense. Yara Haddad tried to approach safely to the engine room, but after getting stunned by an Ikadron’s Flash Pulse she ordered retreat, the remaining defenders ran to the Hangar hoping to escape using the Phantom class shuttle situated there only to meet with the Suryat and his Morat infantry. At this desperate moment, the Daylami infantry, without waiting any orders started raining fire on the Suryat with their Panzerfausts.. Their weapons barely injured the Power Armor clad Morat and they got gunned down by the Morat covering fire, but their sacrifice was a success, as this allowed their brethren to take the shuttle and escape, leaving the frigate to the alien aggressors. CHAPTER:1 – CHAOS UPRISING Caravansary was so huge that it was nearly big as a small satellite moon. It was even split into cities and resort villages. Every representative group of the summit was hosted in their private zones. Representatives were escorted by their own small but elite bodyguards as usual. Caravansary had limited with a certain number of guards and type of weapon arsenal, as Sultanate already had Qapu Khalqi forces who were responsible of the security. Second day of the summit began with reports of several armed conflict. Caravansary security forces have already expected frequent brawls, even a few short-lived skirmishers between mercenary companies, but this was far different. Some factions have assaulted other representatives’ villages and directly target the ambassadors. Aggressors picked up their fallen comrades, withdrew, and vanished without a trace whenever Qapu Khalqi showed up. It didn’t take long that victims began to retaliate, and Caravansary Esma Sultan was in a blood bath. Liaison officer of Corregidor poked the Alguacile in order to make him speak first to caravansary representative. As a live witness, young soldier began to tell the events in sub-docks D217. “We heard some Yu Jing warcries in the construction zone, so Lady-boss asked us to clear the spot. The young officer tagged along us for the ride. He was the first victim of a furious assault came out of nowhere. He upfront was trying to cover our HVT. We came under attack from our right flank and pinned down immediately. Only our excon Jaguar's reckless counter-attack saved us barring our LT. The Jaguar cleared a street full of camos, ghosts and mines, and an enemy HVT! But he didn’t survived the engagement. We couldn’t get a define ID in the enemy. They were like ghosts. Then another assault came from our left flank. It was brutal, it took most of lady-boss's fire-team, but she survived as a true Khalesii as always. Enemy haris team was summarily executed by her panzerfaust rounds, but not before our new commander Intruder taken down. When Lady-boss Lupe Balboa went down, we were down to 3 men. Our back-up Mobile Brigada, ran forward amid shots and found the origin of this menace and turned it to ashes. We were so run-down but enemy opposition was stopped, so we decided not to retreat. Unfortunately, they have recovered their every KIA and WIA out of area. So sir, we still don’t’ know what hit us! Even we have heard Yu Jing-ish words, Lady-boss told me that aggression method looked like Shasvastii. Lastly, I personally recommend Senor Massacre a Distinguished NonService Medal for keeping our left most flank by not spending a single bullet with a sword in sheath all the time." Deva High Functionary protested before anyone had time to raise any complaint. "I don't think you, Corregidors have any right to accuse anyone. A small elite spec-op team of Qapu Khalqi, led by Mobile Brigada commander alpha-strike to quarters of two senior Aleph representatives. Our sensor remotes detected eight heavily armed troops right across their accommodations within the restricted zone. While Hector and Ajax charged forward with their team to confront the aggressors, Atalanta had visual contact with them. Three janissaries, one doctor, and one killer hacker Haqqislamite as a team, backed up by a Djanbazan sniper, Odalisque, and a Mobil Brigada. Mobil Brigada seemed to issue orders, so it was obvious that he was the operation commander. Atalanta fired at them, forcing janissary HMG and djanbazan sniper to pin down. This provided Hector and Ajax a precious opportunity to advance to the enemy in safe. In a short time, Ajax entered to close combat with enemy, hurling the killer hacker and two janissaries to wall. Then enemy AD troops have arrived and caused minor causalty to our team. Janissary HMG took down Ajax. In response Hector and Atalanta wiped out the rest of the enemy team, djanbazan sniper and Odalisque. Mobil Brigada and Hector exchanged their shots, both fell down. Then their AD troops evacuated all their fallen comrades and retreated. According to our remote analysis, this was the worst alpha strike encountered of a Janissary force." A superior Qapu-Khalqi officer asked, "Can you please share the footage and visuals of the aggressors? I want to run a face recognition analysis." Deva responded, "That's the interesting part. The only face visual we have belongs to Odalisque which transmuted to an another troop in helmet with heavy rocket launcher. Probably a holomask." Qapu-Khalqi superior grunted, "So the aggressors may be anyone who suited as Haqqislamite troops!" "That's within the bounds of possibility, but sounds more like an attempt to justify the crime." Before anyone managed to voice their complaints, Yu Jing ambassador reflected a Holo-projector in the middle of the hall. “Let me share the footage of this morning recorded by our own security systems. Here, you have the crystal clear evidence of Pan Oceanian troops slaughtering our delegates and their bodyguards.” Engagement started with the Fireteam of Invincibles approaching midfield and starting the firefight with the ORCS fortified on top of the building. Shang Ji operative opened fire with his HMG against the Feuerbach wielding ORC. After exchanging a few rounds ORC managed to knock the Shang Ji unconscious. With the help of the paramedic he got up only to be gunned down again, this time meeting his untimely demise. Krit Kokram took his position to at least try to halt ORCs upcoming advance. Meanwhile one Liu Xing dropped down on the Varuna delegate in the midfield and took her out, moving in to cover the narrow street for any ORC advance. ORC squad started their relentless advance down the narrow street, not even being slowed down by the Liu Xing, taking him out as they advance. Leaving the buildings they fortified, advancing toward Zuyong position, knocking Krit Kokram unconscious as they go. They reached the corner and one by one neutralized the Zuyongs, not really bothering to protect their own delegates either. Another Liu Xing Dropped down on the second Varuna delegate and took her out, after taking her out he focused on the ORC Lt. But failed to take him out and got wounded in the process. In the meanwhile the commanding Daoying fell back and started calling for some sort of evacuation. Fusilier that was ordered to cover ORCs back got up from his position and gunned down the Liu Xing with his HMG. ORCs simply kept going until they surrounded the garden containing the Daoying, followed with a successful breach and neutralization of the final Yu jing operative in the OZ. As everyone was terrified with the violence in the footage, NeoTerran Executive protested, “This is a set-up, this is an obvious Yu-Jing plot against Pan Oceania! The Varuna delegates in the footage were missing for two days, and I don’t recall those fusiliers!” Qapu Khalqi superior zoomed into footage, copied the faces of fusiliers and ran several face recognitions. Analysis results showed that those fusiliers haven’t checked in on board. Yu Jing ambassador was almost happy to see Pan Oceanian executive sweating in front of other representatives, even it had a cost of Yu Jing lives. CHAPTER 2a – TIDE OF SILENCE “I have to admit, this operation succeeded far better than I expected. Stupid humans are squabbling with each other.”, Suryat said with a voice of respect. “So, what’s the next step?” Mentor smirked, “Now, we have to infiltrate to their communications. We will cut off caravansary’s communication with outside. Incoming transmissions will be directed to us, and we will be feeding with false information to both ways.” “Great! I will prepare an strike team to communication bridge immediately.”, Suryat excited. “No! That’s a bad idea.”, objected Mentor. “Our presence is not discovered yet. So we may use this advantage a little more. An assault to bridge section will reveal us. Instead, we may attack to a zone with less surveillance and resistance. We will capture the advance communication consoles (AC2s) of antennas in inner decks. In the third day, retaliation attacks took place in all over the caravansary. Despite of caravansary representative’s call of peace and interference of Qapu Khalqi forces, resort villages and delegate quarters became warzones. Intend of some factions was just to avenge their fallen comrades and HVTs, others wanted to take advantage of the situation and settled old accounts with their adversaries. "That group must be exterminated", said the Qapu Khalqi officer to her comrade of higher rank. "They are causing so much problem". What do you propose?", asked the high-ranked officer. She turned her gaze upon the docked ships at the caravansary and pointed the phantom shuttle docked recently. "We need exterminators!" Kara Haddad scanned the enemy positions with her multi-spectral visor. QK High Command requested her to cripple some Yu Jing forces that were wreaking havoc. Her team was called from the frigate 2 days before. She had quite the time to gather intelligence upon the upstart group. At the start of the operation she ordered the Fiday to position as an infiltrator to assault the Zhansi fireteam. It was too late for the Fiday to realize that she was engaging some holograms as she was shot down by a Zhansi positioned at a nearby building. With that tactic failed, Kara ordered her fire team to move forward. Muyib fired some rockets to the rooftop, clearing the enemy positioned. This opened a pathway for the fire team to move forward to exterminate the remaining opposition. As they move forward to rout out the rest of the enemy, the Asawira of the team was hit by a mad trap and was immobilized. This slowed the fire team. Simultaneously, Tiger Soldiers skilfully jumped behind the mainline to hunt Hassasin Bahram support elements. They descended vengefully killing Barid, Farzan, Ragik, and some Daylami. Seeing this, Kara ordered her team backwards to deal this new threat. Asawira fired the full burst of her spitfire on one of the tiger soldiers, while other fell to the Muyibs rockets. With the backline threat eliminated, Hassasin Bahram fire team continued forward to rout out the remaining enemy. As they push forward, they encountered a ninja. Her camouflage proved to be too difficult for Asawira to aim correctly, so Kara dealt with the ninja with her heavy pistols with the help of her multi-spectral visor The operation ended with Asawira firing full burst of her AP spitfire on the rest of the battered Yu Jing force, eliminating them in one fell swoop. Embedded Diaries of a noob freelancer Arachne warcor: Day 0: I am very happy to join this group. I feel safe and confident. We have a core team, one TAG, a couple of Jaguars, Mobile Brigada as the lieutenant, and two Hellcats as aces in sleeve. They are guarding some important communication consoles in the central decks of the caravansary. This will be the easiest pay-cheque ever. What could possibly go wrong? Day 1: Our group was called to intervene some intruders as emergency response force. We were to seek and destroy the enemy. Our group immediately positioned around the closest console. But our commander was aggressive and sent everyone forward. Even our commander seemed too eager, due to gadgets of the enemy, he could not get close much despite the help of the smoke assistance of the core team. Then Iguana came forward. He started to act strange and suddenly he fired up with this heavy flamer to barbeque our core-team which they did not have a chance against. After obliterating the team, Iguana turned back to crack on our console as if possessed by demons! And a literally a demonic woman appeared out of nowhere to join him. I was able to flash her but that didn't stop her. After a pause, our Iguana TAG was our again and started to kick the woman away from the console. When stomping stopped, distant shooting was heard and the Iguana was down. A big smoke covered the area, a slick sound of coup de grace marked the end of the woman and our brave TAG pilot emerged. He started a shooting match with his opponents, but caught in the cross fire and died heroically. In the distance, I can hear a guy fighting off another monster, but he was silenced shortly after. By then, we were down to man. A Jaguar and me. I saw and recorded Jaguar as he was fighting multiple aliens who try to eat him. He burned many of them but died in an acid cloud in the end. I could not see but heard a hellcat was landed. But record what he achieved, I hope he completed our objective. When I recovered from the shock of the terror I saw, I ran back to our headquarters. Unfortunately, my drone cam was damaged during firefight, so all the records were gone. So nobody believed the alien story. They are suspecting from Yu Jing infiltrators and saboteurs. End of Transmission Day 2: As all my group was wiped out, I was assigned to a new group. I think I want to leave this caravansary and quit being Warcor. Nomads forces detected hostile presence in their Inner Deck where the Advance Communication consoles are located. A Chimera scout was sent to check and ended up encountering a Shasvastii squadron. Filthy alien was installing an antenna to transmit the data they could steal from the Nomad territory. Chimera sent her Pupniks to surround the assault group, but those were literally devoured by Sheskin, who initiated a direct attack towards the Nomads forces. The Gecko TAG ran to meet the aggressor halfway and managed to discourage him from attacking the Nomads forces using the only negotiation skills he knows, a Bullet Barrage. In the meantime Sarah M. Vogel, the Nomad Lieutenant found herself cornered by a speculo killer that jumped her and tried to slit her throat wide open. Luckily, she managed to counter his attack and her allies shoot him down. It was a close call, they need to be more aware of these kinds of threats. In the meantime, the Shasvastii forces infiltrate inside the enemy lines with the aggressive attack of the Taigha creatures that allowed Caliban to reach and damage the enemy console. The defensive team killed him right away, but it was too late. Communication was jeopardized, so the Nomads forces needed a desperate strategy to counter-attack. The advance team formed by a Morlock and a Masai hunter went on a rampage towards the enemy console hiding behind a smoke curtain. With his last breath, the infiltrator jumped and grabbed the console trying to set up a D-charge. But he was obliterated by enemy fire and was unable to fulfill his mission. With the Nomads forces severely reduced, Shasvastii forces gather their casualties, the data stolen from the Nomads and fled victorious avoiding more confrontation. The long-lasting warriors of Aleph’s famous artificial intelligence have always thought that their defenses were impenetrable and secure from the enemy… until now. A small force of Invincible Army has landed on top of the city's skyscrapers where Aleph representatives’ residence located. Their probable objective was to avenge their assassinated delegate. It was rumored that the assassin was Atalanta, which was clearly a sheer calumny. While their elite snipers took the high places, their infamous Guija Squadron TAG was already on the move through the left flank. This narrow corridor of death has taken a toll on some armor of the TAG, alongside with the Atalanta's and Dactyl's quick death. With some strategic fallback, they tried to repair the Guijia, and then the turn finally came to the Aleph. With Hector and Ajax in lead, Steel Phalanx's death squad had taken the enemy sniper team one by one, in just a matter of seconds with their rapid-fire and succession. With some speed, they moved to the enemy quarters easily, but couldn't find the main threat nearby. Guijia Squadron TAG ran to the enemy lines for a quick assassination of the support drones, while their last infantry tried to defend their escape and tried to hold their position. After some maneuvers, Enomotarchos team cleaned the enemy base and tried to move Guijia'a last location, alongside the valuable data packs. With their last breath, Guijia and Kokram destroyed all of the drones and got ready for a final fight on the bridge. With Hector's fire superiority, the great TAG has fallen down finally and they ran to the Kokram’s last place with their swords. Just near the panoply, Hector's great sword mutilated the Kokram and tried to reach Yu-Jing's commander. But with his wounds, he fell not as a soldier but as a hero of Troy. Without their leader; Ajax, Phoenix and a Myrmidon tried to secure a package, but they all failed due to the shock of their leader’s death. In the end, they just won; but at what cost. “Everything is proceeding exactly as I have foreseen.”, grinned the Mentor. Suryat was beginning to respect this sneaky Shasvasti. Even he wasn’t approving his methods, they were reaping the fruits of success after success. They were controlling the data traffic, without the humans even realizing it. They had shared all the bloodshed both they had started and brainless humans escalated to human-sphere. It didn’t take long, a crisis in hyper-power scale reached its climax. All consul generals and senior delegates were summoned to O-12 for an emergency meeting. “Now, we can finish them by sabotaging the vital support systems of the caravansary. Should it be the oxygen silos, water recycle systems or gravity generators? Maybe the climate stabilizers? Yes, yes. Let them freeze in this rock!”, excited Suryat. “This is the Morat way!” “No, not yet!”, objected the Mentor. “First we should rally some allies.” “Allies? What allies? Like mercenaries, dogs of war?” “Better, an ally that even itself won’t realize that they will serve us.”, smirked the Mentor. “We will use the information in the communication stream we have and charge them with everything that happened.” “Why? They are already squabbling amongst themselves. That’s the time!”, roared Suryat impatiently. “Strike first, strike hard, no mercy!” “Because, despite our stealthy maneuvers and hit-and-run operations, humans began to collect footages with our presence. It’s a matter of time, they will realize the true aggressor and unite in a short notice. We may even lose our precious control on communication consoles.” “So what do you propose, Shasvasti?” “Except Haqqislamites, nobody likes Nomads. Corregidor maintenance workers and their security forces may be a perfect candidate for our scapegoat. “Another mission?”, asked Azra. Kara turned the seasoned Asawira who has been with her since that mission on Bourak. “Why not?”, she said. They were stranded here anyway with no word from the frigate. “Some cowards sabotaged some heating stabilizers. Local security was sent to inspect, but lost contact with the command center. Our Qapu Khalqi brothers need immediate response action and we are the only solid force nearby. They will even run away when they see us. This should be fun and easy in this boring time.” Alaaddin took position near one of the broken heat stabilizers. And he positioned his comrades and Daylami infantry he hired and trained in the ways of camouflage around the key locations. But extreme cold at the center prevented him to position forward without compromising their camouflage. There was something very wrong. There were no bodies except frozen engineers and maintenance team. And even no trace from Qapu Khalki security team. When they took all their positions, a lone Qapu Khalki guard appeared, battered and wounded. Hassassin Bahram lieutenant was experienced enough to see that it was a decoy, so he ordered the vanguard team to assume positions and hide. It was cold, very cold and silent chatter came from Alaaddin. They were ordered to get passed the exclusion zone. Zulal was ordered to take position near the heater and Alla was ordered to move more forward and impersonate the closest enemy she sees. It was Alla who saw the enemy first. They were Shasvastii. She took a deep breath and activated impersonation protocol. She saw the most well equipped enemy she ever saw guarded by two more aliens. Within seconds, she took position in some barrels in the disguise of a frozen engineer. Kara and her team took positions near the middle heater. There was nothing, no enemy around and a traumatized Kaplan which was very suspicious. When whole team tried to interrogate him, he realized that his mask has fallen and tried to attack Azra with his monofilament saber. Azra, with the help of the Ghulam nearby took care of it easily in close combat. Asawiras are the best fighters in the universe after all. Meanwhile Alla watched as Sheskin and her guards took position. She sneaked behind them, turned her boarding shotgun on spread mode, and fired two slugs at the fire team. Annihilated them all, “Lucky!”, she said. Then she saw the next target, a Jayth, designated as the data tracker guarded by two Taighas. She used the boarding shotgun again, but this time with no luck, she found herself fighting two Taighas. Kara ordered team doctor to use a console to activate a heater nearby. The doctor succeeded it, but paid this with her life as a Shrouded gunned her down. The NCO also got sniped by a Noctifier positioned on higher ground. Alla fought with Taighas, but with Jayth joining the battle, she was cut down. And another Taigha jumped on the Muyib killing itself and the warrior. When the Noctifier was gone, Kara ordered a full assault. Zulal dropping the masquerade, started shooting every alien around with her boarding shotgun. Azra pushed forward shooting and cutting everyone in her way. Kara heard a retreat order, but she was too busy smashing the skull of a Shrouded. As she went forward, she got ambushed by Jayth plus an another Shrouded and finally got unconscious. As Shasvastii moved for the killing blow, an unimaginable chilling storm swept the battlefield, freezing the Shrouded, the Batroids, and even Zulal. She was saved thanks to her power armour and managed to crawl the safety of the heater. This was a hollow victory both Fidays Zulal and Alla were gone. Also the Muyib doctor and NCO was lots, but evil Shasvastii was destroyed. When Kara entered the main heating controls, she saw the whole local security force was mutilated and charred. They investigated every Shasvastii body before incinerating them, but Jayth was gone with the data nowhere to be seen. Kara obtained the sufficient evidence to prove the presence of Shasvastii. After their defeat against Shavastii forces, The Nomad security squadron was assigned with a new Lieutenant. It was an out of the ordinary order, as he was neither familiar to the rest of the team, nor he was from the same battalion. As soon as he arrived, he ordered to sabotage the climate stabilizers of Aleph district. But AI responded immediately, as soon as they spotted the Nomad strike team. From behind the severe snow storm, Achilles himself led a frontal attack of the Steel Phalanx forces directed to the Nomad´s right flank. He was not alone; Hector, Ajax and a Myrmidon trooper supported him from the back. Luckily for the Nomand team, a Gecko was standing in their way and managed to slow down their attack and wounded them. In between all the bullet rain, Jazz was able to isolate Achilles, leaving him alone in a very dangerous situation. In the meantime, a Moran Masai climbed to a console in the left flank to turn on one of the heaters that protected the Nomad deployment zone, allowing them to keep the position. The Steel Phalanx forces didn´t even consider a retreat and continued with the frontal attack. Atalanta shot the Gecko down from afar and that allowed the spearhead to push further into Nomads lines. That action gave chance to an Intruder to pin down the Steel Phalanx assault force, reducing their troops severely. To counter their attack, the Lieutenant Kriza Borac pushed forward and the Gecko pilot covered the consoles to force the remaining even troops retreat. At the end, the Nomad forces managed to keep their position making it impossible for their enemy to even retreat, falling all down due to the severe weather condition. While Nomad security forces were celebrating their victory against AI, a Corregidor maintenance crew discovered a Tunguska officer body. It was revealed that he was the missing Lieutenant from another battalion. A detective inspector of the Securitate exposed the infiltration of Shasvasti impersonating the officer. After noting and declining Suryat Zhevra's suggestions about rushing the area with Gakis, I have decided against wasting precious beasts freezing to death and kept the strike force small and power armored, thus consisting of myself in my Tag, the four men squad of Suryat with their specialist Treitak Khavra, and the Obsidon Xxy1A. The alien doctor is good and focused at its job. I'm sure our own paramedics as well as Kurgats would benefit from learning from his kind. Zhevra with his rocket launcher proved much more effective than he is at snorting at the Shasvastii Mentor over the few days and kept the entire White Banner army squad pinned at least for enough time to give me to flank them in my TAG. With my push on their side and the Suryats claiming the central heating activators these White Banner humans started losing their nerve and dispersed. As their last power armored combatant was running covered in flames, he managed to shoot and knock Zhevra unconscious. But I have just received report that Suryat's injuries were mild from Xxy1A. Their machine gunfire managed to wreck my TAG as they fell back. Repairs are already underway, and aside from those repairs, mission was accomplished with no other unnecessary waste of resources. INTRO ‘What do you mean the Invincible Army pulled out’ asked Yuo Lin. ‘I don’t know the details but I heard that there was a big mess up when they tried to raid the Aleph station for information regarding the events that are happening recently’ answered Quo Wan. ‘People are saying that Lhost of Hector was there and now the brass is pulling back the Invincible Army brigade from the zone to ensure that the situation doesn’t get out of hand. ‘Do you know anything else about it’ Yuo Lin pressed. ‘I don’t know why don’t you ask the Shang Ji if you are so interested in it’ said Quo Wan. ‘Cut the chatter’ came the curt order from the White Banner 415th Brigade Lieutenant Xio Huan. ‘GuiLangs have reported movement in the outer perimeter. It might be the Nomad dogs, be on alert’. Right on cue the alarm went of and the cold void became criss-crossed with rifle and heavy weapons fire. ‘Quickly we must secure the heater terminals, if they sabotage them we will freeze to death’ ordered Xio Huan. The elite soldiers of the White Banner army were used to the freezing cold but the situation on the station was unbearable to anyone without a powered armor. Turn 1 White Banner Shang Ji Leutenant and his fireteam pressed hard from the left flank. They were met with resistance from Lupe Balboa and her fireteam. Shang Ji opened fire with his Heavy Machine Gun and Lupe decided not to use her Panzerfaust to keep it full to go against the Guija. So the Shang Ji gunned Lupe down. Once the biggest threat to it was removed the Guija jumped on the short building in the center of the board to have line of sight to the remaining members of the Nomad fireteam. He gunned down one of the Alguaciles, a Mobile Brigada and the Mobile Brigada Lieutenant but failed to kill another Alguacile who crit dodged 3 firefights with the Guija. Seeing this the Guija’s pilot disembarked and used the console to turn on the heater on the deployment zone of the White Banner army. With the final order by breaking the fireteam Guija, ShangjiLieutenant, Another Shangji and one Zhanshi went into suppressive fire to protect the left flank of the army. Turn 1 Corregidor With their Lieutenant dead the Nomads tried to readjust their positioning to ensure better fire lanes and get ready for White Banner’s turn 2 assault. Turn 2 White Banner Guija breaking his suppression-fire, tried to shoot at the Alguacile who had dodged 3 of his attacks. This time his aim was true and the Alguacile went down. Then the Guija moved to the area to discover the hidden camo marker that was blocking a key area. The camo marker turned out to be an Intruder. He shot at the Guija with no affect. Seeing this, the Guija opened fire on the Intruder HMG and the Intruder HMG went down in the ensuing firefight. With the biggest roadblock gone, the shaolin monk advanced and threw a smoke grenade to block all LOS to the other console on the left side of the battlefield. With their vision obstructed the Corregidor was unable to prevent the Shang Ji fireteam, who reformed with a command token, from moving up and the paramedic taking control of the left console to turn on the heater for the second zone in White Banner army’s side. Then the fireteam broke up again so that both Shang Ji, one Zhanshi and Guija going into suppressive fire. As a final move the Monk moved up to act as a roadblock to Senior Massacre and his two Jaguar teammates Turn 2 Corregidor With the left side of the board under heavy control by multiple lethal suppressive fires, Senior Massacre Haris team decided to move up smoke the alleyway and engage the White Banner army in lethal close combat. However they had one obstacle, a lone brave Monk who stood up to the 3 lethal killers by himself. The Haris team under the leadership on one of the Jaguars moved up and engaged the Monk. Despite the odds the Monk triumphed and took out the first Jaguar. Then Senior Massacre decided to lead the next attack against the Monk, but yet again the brave man despite being swarmed by deadly killers stood his ground and took out Senior Massacre. However the final Jaguar took this opportunity to knife the poor Monk on the back to kill him. His sacrifice was both Heroic and monumental as Corregidor had spent too many orders to bring this legend of a man so they had no more resources to continue their push Turn 3 White Banner With the Corregidor hard pressed and two of the heaters activated, White Banner decided to consolidate their position to ensure that Corregidor could not pull any tricks to deactivate/destroy the heaters. The non-Lieutenant Shang Ji gunned down the Jaguar who had heinously backstabbed the Imperial Hero, whose glorious sacrifice ensured victory. Then everyone who could went into suppressive fire to cover all possible approach lanes Turn 3 Corregidor With their right flank in shambles, the Iguana on the left flank decided to push forward to destroy one of the heaters to freeze some of the White Banner army to death. He advanced from the right corridor risking the AROs from the 2 flash pulse bots and the Warcor who was assigned to the Brigade to film the glorious heroics of people army. What the Iguana pilot didn’t take into account was the 2 hidden deployed Hundun who with their rocket launchers caught the Corregidor TAG unawares. In the ensuing firefight the TAG first became blinded and then the pilot had to eject due to multiple rocket impacts. The pilot ejected and rolled into cover after being blinded by the Warcor but there was nothing more he could do to prevent what was next to come. OUTRO ‘Hundun Ambush team reporting, the TAG is down, repeat the enemy TAG is down. No casualties suffered’ reported Zhan Hulang. ‘Hurry back to the heaters, the flash frost is coming in. I will hold the line’ ordered Xio Huan as he surveyed the bullet ridden and frozen remains of the Corregidor offensives. He never understood these Nomads, why would they throw themselves into such deadly situations for the perceived and false reward of freedom. He was sure that people under his command were safe as the sacrifice of Lu Luhan (Monk) had allowed his fireteam and the Guija to reactivate the heaters that Corregidor had hacked into ensuring the safety. With the numerous sabotage attempts on climate stabilizers and heating units of various delegate districts, the presence of the Combined Army was revealed. This wreaked chaos and panic in the caravansary. And several Nomad strikes on vital support systems poured fuel on the fire. Most of the delegates accused Nomads to be allied with Combined Army forces, even the Nomad representatives claimed that they were framed. As a long time strategic partner, Qapu Khalqi officers had no choice, but to work both ways in order to favor accusers and Nomads. This even muddled things up, and accusers charged Qapu Khalqi to get involved in the conspiracy as well. While the tension was rising between delegates, caravansary administrators started a full-scale witch hunt for Shasvastii intruders. in order to prove their innocence and published an extremely high bounty for each alien captured.
