Introduction 1 - Xi Lang “Western Wolf" Death of Victor Lafayette Captain Victor Lafayette, one of lieutenants in charge of a combat group of the Ariadnan Force de Réponse Rapide Merovingienne (FRRM) in “De Hell Group”. He was an average officer, not an extreme patriotic, more man of joy and pleasure, live fast and die young. However everything has changed in the catastrophic events of The Battle of De Hell Group in the island of Novyy Cimmeria. He witnessed the huge loss of lives and suffering of Merovingians against Onyx Force, but worst of all he was enraged as there was no incoming reinforcements of Caledonians, USARF, or Tartary forces before he lost his comrades. As the single survivor of his squad, he was rescued by an Invisible Army detachment which was sent in order to support Ariadnans. Birth of Vi Lifeng Victor Lafayette resigned from already severely weakened FRRM force, migrated to Yutang with Commander Jiahao Zhi, who was the leader of his saviors. Commander Zhi was an open minded and known of passionate of multi-cultures. He also had strong relations with noble families in the royal court. He was impressed of Lafayette’s desire to avenge and sadden of his disappointment against his comrades. First he helped Lafayette to acquire nationality of Yu Jing with name of “Vi Lifeng” and then conscript to Invincible Army's integration program. Rise of Xi Lang As expected instructors, officers, and all cadets couldn’t stand the idea of a foreigner in Imperial State Army. They made every effort to force him to leave, but every humiliation and assault fan his fire more to achieve his objective… to be an “Invincible”. When they understood that they won’t be able to break him, respect took the place instead of disgust. They call him Xi Lang “Western Wolf”. After graduating the academy, he proved himself in every battle and operation as a fearless war-machine. At last he honored Commander Zhi by being promoted to Lieutenant. Now he has to lead his soldiers to victory in order to earn their respect.
Introduction 2 – Ismail Tuna “Shadow Hunter" Downfall of a dream Ismail Tuna was an Uyghur who was born in Dailing region of planet Shentang. As most of Uyghur teenager in Dailing, he had two choices; joining the Invincible Army’s integration or working in one of the industrial centers. But he had interest neither in fighting nor in heavy manual labor. He had an obsessive characteristic of curiosity and hunger of discovery. He applied several times to various prestigious academies, because he simply wanted to be a scholar. As social status was restricted by an invisible barrier and most of the positions are usually filled by Han ethnic group, all of his applications are rejected. Another opportunity There were improvements in Uyghurs’ situation and suspicions of the Party were calmed comparing to years before colonization of Shantang. Even considering these conditions, members of Uyghur ethnic group were second class citizens. Without working in top position (which was rare) or becoming an Invincible trooper, his large family would get respect neither from Hans nor from his kindred. Luckily, the value of the Uyghurs as a link to Haqqislam was noticed by the Imperial Service. Their cultural proximity and religious similarities made Uyghurs the perfect candidates as covert agents. But Imperial Service place value on different virtues like inquisitive, communicative, persuasive, observant. He was uniquely suited to this job. Shadow Hunter Despite being an Uyghur, Ismail Tuna was graduated as the top cadet easily. After several basic assignments such as monitoring and reporting Haqqislamite border activities, he was assigned to satellite colonies and remote corners of the system as specialist operative. But it didn’t last long before his supervisors noticed his potential. As a pheasant rank Imperial Agent, Tuna exposed several Shasvastii cells in Novyy Bangkok thanks to his observant skills. He was named “Shadow Hunter” by his sub-ranks. Ismail Tuna was recently promoted to Crane Rank and brought not only pride, but also respect to his family.
Introduction 3 – Hector Bernardo “El Padre Mayor" Free People of Corregidor Nomads, free people of the Human Sphere. They can roam, travel, and wander wherever they want. They can experience the most forbidden and perverted pleasures they wish. They can access to any information and data easily for free they seek. They have no liability, responsibility and commitment so ever. This is how citizens of human sphere see of us, or this is how Nomad Propaganda Office wants them to see as. But the reality is far different. Compensation for living Like every mothership of Nomad, nothing is for free in Corregidor, not even existence. In space, everything comes with a price tag. On planets, vital necessities like oxygen, water, or even food may be respected and their free availability is taken for granted. But in Corregidor, these are privileges that must be paid for. The ones who can’t afford the credit, are forced to work in maintenance duties. And the ones who can’t serve in those hostile environment as hard labor, are sent to space from airlocks. This may not be a problem for the young ones who has the energy and physical strength. The situation is usually contrary for older adults who didn’t make enough savings. El Padre Mayor Hector Bernardo was always a survivor. As a child, he worked in Green Maintenance Teams learned how to live in Zero-G. As a teenager, he signed to police force regiment of Alguaciles. Then he spent his mid age in Corregidor military force. Even he is one of the oldest operatives in military, he is still resourceful and worthy to Corregidor with his broad experience and cunning tacticas. He is respected as a mentor and called “El Padre Mayor”. He will continue to fight and serve as long as he can… If he doesn’t want to end in an air-lock!
