    Sir,
A request has been made to reactivate the RM100 program. While the immediate reaction may be to refuse this request, it would be remiss of me not to appraise you of all known developments before you make this decision, as such I have outlined the .

The RM100 program was designed to provide Ariadnan forces with the firepower and mobility of the TAGs deployed in the commercial conflicts. While the process ultimately failed to produce an appropriate final design solution before it was put on hold, several of the contenders and alternative ideas have made progress with their parent organisations, and have been outlined here. Some of the designs are more viable than others:

    Sterling Forge "Glawackus"

Focused on stability and firepower in lue of mobility, the sterling forge design was accompanied by a heavily modified black Eagle intended to deploy the semi-tracked quadraped vehicle as a mobile bunker.

The prototype was armed with a twin 30mm auto cannon, but the mount was designed to accommodate a rotary barrel 25mm cannon. The cannon has been successfully deployed with the Tartary naval patrol for several years now, however the ammunition weight to provide just 5 seconds of firepower, and the weight of the vehicle exceeded the lift capacity of the Black Eagle, the solution(if one is being charitable) was for the operator and engineers to be transported in a second helicopter along with the secondary armaments (2 HMGs with 2000 rounds each and a rack for up to six DEPs) this meant that deployment of a single vehicle would take on average 10 minutes and 8 seconds not including flight times or emergency repairs. It would also require a support staff of 6 crew, not including the operator.

No significant improvements have been reported, but recent acquisitions of aerospace assets from [redacted] may produce an airframe capable of deploying Glawackus.

    MatFab "Scarbnik"

The first MatFab approach was to purchase light mining and agricultural TAGs that could be armed with molotoks and smgs, after a half dozen of them were imported, Bureau Aegis reclassified them from industrial to military, limiting their availability.

If approved for import by O-12 the project could be restarted almost immediately, but the likelihood of this is very low.

    MatFab "Mecheny"

The second submission after the reclassification was a Bipedal design envisioned as a heavy artillery spotter, linking with Traktor Muls through an advanced control system similar to those used by the Dozer regiment, but with longer range. The Mecheny ('marked one') was equipped with defensive armaments in mission serviceable "wing" pods and a chin turret laser designator to allow concentrated fire from its accompanying Muls.

One prototype hull was produced, no drive system was fitted before the project was mothballed, the improved range Mul controller has been made obsolete by the latest portable models.

    Armurier de merovingia "Paladin"

Project Paladin was only in the first stages of designing a rapid deployment TAG intended to provide pacification and protection of civilian population. Almost no aspect of the design was finalised and all allocated resources have been redistributed to other more pressing projects after the battle of De Hel.

    Sconefabrik "Rob Roy"

Sconefabrik's design was essentially an upscaled "buffalo" suit, with licence fees being paid to sterling forge, combined with the power system from a salvaged [redacted] Tag recovered on [redacted] the power to weight ratio was off by several tonnes, resulting in an uncontrollable first outing.

The operator is said to be making a faster recovery than expected, and has begun physical therapy to learn the use of her new arm and legs.

I await your decision with maximum anticipation.

    Captain Donald Gregg.

    Donny,
You have my permission to re-assign whoever wasted the time inking the paperwork for this as a moral officer, at least that way their talent for making me laugh won't be wasted.

If they resubmit, I'll shoot them personally.
