Considering the number of shasvastii, I place my bet on a repack. On the other hand for the pilot szalamandra it smells the departure, I do not think there will be a resculpt there is already a nomad pilot in recent sculpture to make proxie. Carlota is probably resculpted.
Also, Sally Pilot was the oldest Pilot mini, dating back to 1ed if memory serves me... I wouldn't be surprised to see a generic "Nomad TAG Pilot" model (to be used with Gator or Lizard or Szalamandra as needed, perhaps also with a Gecko), a generic "Haqq TAG Pilot" to work with Shakush and Maghariba, generic "Yu Jing TAG Pilot" for Guija and Blue Wolf... same way as we have a Crabbot that fits as remote detachable "pilot" for all PanO TAGs, and Krakata for all Aleph TAGs. I don't feel we need TAG Pilot models that often on the table (even with TAGs themselves being present) to warrant having several sculpts being available for each faction that has more than one TAG model. ...that being said, I'd buy myself a generic Haqq TAG Pilot for my future Shakush, to compliment my Maghariba Pilot.
Really hoping for a new Szalamandra pilot, tbh. The old art for her was really cool looking and the sculpt was basically unrelated in terms of visual style. :|
Right there with you. I can certainly see a generic TAG pilot for each faction in the future. When we use our TAGs the pilots rarely come out. In that regard I also don’t really think we need for the TAG pilot to be on the table all the time but it is nice to have them. I also would absolutely buy one for my future shakush. It’s been so long coming that when it gets here it deserves its own extra mini as a reward!
Yeah, the whole "skin, uniform, and hair (head tentacles??) are the same artificial material color" thing is very Nomads, like Szally pilots are heavily body-modified. Head tendrils would relate a bit to the design of other Nomads stuff like the Kriza as well and be a cool interface implant format.
