I’ve managed to paint about two thirds of my haqqi minis in this video. Below are some close up shots of some of them. I’ll post more of the ones in the video if anyone wants to see them. Hope you all enjoy!
Look at that: Haqqs, and they are brown :-D Love to see Minis of yours, realy like the paintjob. Especially the camo-pattern on the Ayyār looks great. Plus the Hunzakut lady is alwaysa win. One of the best miniatures by design imho. Al-Djabel gives me serious Prowler vibes (the Spider-verse one, not the nomads one)... i think i need this modell to paint it purple... edit: Watched the video. First: I feel I dire need of Odalesques in this army. I feel that need in every haqq army, to be fair... Second: This army looks great in the group shot. Everything fits in and some highlight are pleasently eye-catching (like the red neckerchief or the bright greens). Would love to see it ingame. Third: Laughed about the wehrmacht patrol with the important and sacred cargo. Last: love the cat, beautiful little black demon. Give it a proper head scratch from me.
Thank you! The camo pattern on the Ayyar (whose name I think I forgot in the video) was tested on some old Greek warlord games cloaks first. Took a few tries before I was happy with it. Think I’ll adjust it for the Maggy. Now that you’ve said that about Al-djabel I can’t unsee it! I’d love to see a “Prowler” paint job of him now! Totally agree on the hunzakut sculpt. It’s a lovely mini all round. As for the video: thanks again! I’m glad they all stood out. I wanted at least a little colour on them for contrast. Odalisques are a must, lovely models from ages past. Looking forward to a new one in the reinforcements pack. They’re gonna stand out a lot I think as I’m going to paint them in their classic red. We’re going to get back to Infinity after the reinforcement rule drops/we get our backlog done. I’m looking forward to seeing them in action too as the past haqqi game I had was mostly Jon’s minis not mine. Everyone loves Bubbles (full name Beelzebubbles) We’ll give her plenty of head scritches from you. She’s not allowed in the games room anymore though while we game. She always flops on the table and lies on our miniatures!
