I have been thinking on how to use Krit on a vanilla list for some time. On the paper he look nice, even if a bit costly He is NCO, allowing him to use the L2 orders of the dayoing to repair/push some button (two "free" orders to repair your TR drone or your TAG feel nice) He has the weaponry (heavy shotgun or multirifle) to wreak havoc midfield in turn 2 or 3 for some late button pushing His minelayer profile offer some very interesting defensive opportunities. While I don't see myself deploying him far out of the deployment zone, his forward deployment means I would have a lot of option to put a repeater or E/M mine in a pain in the ass location So : - do you use it in vanilla ? - and if you do how ? Which role, which strategy, which profile ?
Like most things in Yu Jing, it depends on the mission. He's great for missions like Highly Classified. He can do a lot of the objectives. Unfortunately the FD version doesn't have the D-Charges. Daofei have them but he's a hefty price and Hulang. The Mult-Rifle is fine but I don't think so much in Vanilla. The same with Feuerbach.
I did try him in Vanila and actualy liked him for the missions, where you realy need specialists to live long or expected to be a main targer for an opponent.. Both firefight and biotrchwar is an option. Order intensive missions like unmasking could work as well. It's still not the best choise for late button pushing as there are ninjas and zenchas. But it could fit the mission, if you already have daoying lt. If not, it looks like overpaying even over jujak, if I need an engeneer on HI chassis
Literally any profile is good in Vanilla. NCO on an engineer that can pull backup attack/sweeper duties in a faction that likes to utilise its combat and support REMs.
Krit gets my award for most improved on n4. He got so much hate on release. Now he's a pretty solid Rambo on his own so I can see him appearing on vanilla plenty. Feurbach is a nice weapon and the shotgun one makes him an interesting door kicker and aggressive button pusher.
