This will be a log for my narrative, and tournament battle reports. I will post here, but link to my blog where the formatting is a little easier to use for my sake. MOST RECENT BATREP https://aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/09/14/druze-vs-tohaa-frostbyte-its-x/ Frostbye VS Tohaa MOST RECENT ARTICLE: ANACONDA GUIDE https://aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/08/29/anaconda-unit-guide/ (a Little preface. Been playing since late N1, mostly Ariadna and Haqqislam. Read about Druze in the fluff, and immediately started playing "Druze" using whatever rules would work. Most recently using Nomads. Now that they have real rules I decided to finally go all out. My recent playstyle has been Vanilla (Ariadna) with a lot of Infiltrating. So going to very few infiltrating, and huge link teams will be very interesting and I hope I can provide some insights and reviews. (Ultimate goal of the log is to showcase my playstyle and hopefully grow my interest in the game, and other people who read it. This will also be very narrative, with an over arching narrative between games. Don't worry, it's just writing, not the actual missions or anything. I do use quite a few real world references that people from outside of my culture might get offended, or be sore about. So I apologize in advance if you're one of those people. I just try to keep it real. Thank you and I appreciate any feedback!
-Did you move out of naga ZOC you pathfinder after performing SATLOCK? -Scylla in coordinate order? Did he also had palbots? so enginieeres and doctors take part in coordinate order? -so many successes with guided ammunition considering the fact he had U-Turn... you were pretty lucky on dice :) Once I used on tourney guided and couldn't kill heavy infantry who was dodging on 11th vs my guided on 15th through 5 orders. Interesting game though, druzes do look like a new haker-hi-tech-player faction :) So many guided-missles-from-above
thanks! @sorniak -No, just left him there. -He probably didn't move Scylla in combined/ -Eh, guided missiles have been really good for me. Try killing their hackers right away, 18's are better than 15's. I wouldn't put Druze super high up like Homads. More like N2 Quapu Khalki style. Solid ink teams with some nice extra assets they can use.
weeeeell....curious....need to play druze more, can't share same exprience. For me huzakuts+bashi bazooks+saito performed most of work. + peacekeeper is always annoying for enemies. Strange thing with naga...as when you've activated your link Naga could attack your hakers in that link through pathfinders repeater :)
We simply missed the Naga repeater arc. Newest tournament battle report is up! https://mailorderninjas.wixsite.com/enemyspotted1/blog/druze-vs-aleph-firefight Not the most interesting battle report. Firefight has always caused me pain due to the limitations in list building. But it was a nice tryout for the New Druze, especially versus such a high tech opponent like Aleph. If anyone has feedback on the presentation/formatting of the battle reports please let me know! I'm newer to this and am always looking for ways to improve. Also I will most likely be branching out into Ikari/Starco for a few upcoming reports, just to try new things out. They have some very interesting options available to them and I'm excited to try them out.
Final tournament battle report https://mailorderninjas.wixsite.com/enemyspotted1/blog/druze-tournament-vs-haqq-frontline This was against an interesting Haqqislam list, and has sparked a lot of discussion locally about the new Link team rules and how to take advantage of them through deployment. I will be doing a few articles with my thoughts and hosting them in this thread. Overall I LOVED how the Druze played in the tournament. There wasn't a single time I was without options, and I was able to quickly reform the link team for any situation. Whether it was a defensive sniper ARO, or an offensive HMG/LGl movement. By proper positioning you can take on any enemy force with the Druze. I will be testing out Ikari lists next, but am honestly considering sticking with Druze. Thank you and any feedback is appreciated!
Thank you! Will do! https://mailorderninjas.wixsite.com/enemyspotted1/blog/ikari-vs-haqqislam-acquisition Here's the most recent report. I switched to Ikari Company for this, just to try them out. (0 | 11) 5.5 SWC | 299 Points Had A TON OF FUN on this awesome board. Ikari are really powerful but definitely a different beast from DBS. Looking forward to running a HI link team of Wu ming. I really had to manage my resources better with Ikari, only have one infiltrating specialist was TOUGH! Let me know what you guys think!
New battle report as a warm up after some military training/time off from game. MOST RECENT BATREP https://mailorderninjas.wixsite.com/enemyspotted1/blog/druze-vs-saa-150pt Quick 150 game to get back in the swing of things after a few months of military training. The narrative is a continuation and is honestly most of the post SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE NARRATIVE PROBABLY BETTER OFF SKIPPING THE BATREP. I really dislike smaller games. But feel that they're necessary for learning a new faction and it's units effectiveness. Especially when it comes to orders.
Just switched blog formats and finished another 300 point game. Been having a lot of fun with Season 9 so far. MOST RECENT BATREP aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/08/10/druze-vs-saa-300pt-safe-area/ Getting back into the swing of 300 point games we played Safe Area, one of my favorite missions. I've been trying new units with my Druze, mainly the Anaconda and Saito and have been loving it.
https://aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/08/13/druze-vs-onyx-300-looting-sabotaging/ New battle report vs Onyx, looting and sabotaging is a really interesting mission set. Very hard to do correctly, you're required to almost table your opponents resistance. Or use tricky smoke to get in there.
New battle report VS JSA Supplies. Still running Anaconda Saito https://aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/08/24/druze-vs-newjsa-300-supplies/
MOST RECENT ARTICLE: ANACONDA GUIDE https://aenemyspotted.wordpress.com/2018/08/29/anaconda-unit-guide/ I'm going to continue posting to myself. I don't know how this works.
