Mostly hoping for a Marut resculpt. I love the one we have now but i'd like something chunkier, something more THICC and threatening!

 

What? No! The whole appeal of both the Asura and the Marut is that they're massively strong, yet they look like nonthreatening runway models. That little bit of fluff quote from Yashia on the N3 book is something that makes me smile every time i remember it :)

 

Well, nobody's supposed to know the Marut exist anyway, I mean, Maruts don't exist! What you see on Arachne is pure propaganda, after all, why would ALEPH build a TAG that looks like a bunny on high heels with the nicest butt this side of the galaxy!? Definitely the work of the imagination of some degenerate on Bakunin!

That being said yeah i don't really disagree, i'd be content if it stay the same, i just... I wish more TAGs looked like the nu Raicho.

 

Aleph don't build the Marut, it's a PanO design with some Aleph tinkering.

Question is, of all the TAGs on the market why did Aleph pick the one that features hips that don't lie and enormous bunny ears? :P

 

Because that's how ALEPH do

 

And that's why the majority of the Human Sphere loves it

 

I'm hoping for a Marut Resculpt myself, but that's because there's something about the current sculpt that bothers me.
Might be the base that needed extensions, or something about how the arms interact, but I've held off on getting the current sculpt.

 

It sure was a pain in the ass to build and i had to trim part of the shoulder guards, as well as pin the arms. It's generally a pretty unpleasant modelling experience.

Edit: NOT UNPLEASANT AS PROBOTS now that I think of it, that being said i do hope for resculpt of those Size 4 remotes at some point, i think it's long overdue

 

Heh. I'm glad I avoided the probots then, and just grabbed the Pano EVObots to be my probots. Though that decision was mainly driven by a desire to have all my bots be walkers, and so I didn't get the probot wheelbarrows.

 

The current version doesn't need extensions due to the 55mm base, the original studio model is on a 40mm

 

I hope, there will be new Probots!

And I see Marut's antenna (?) more as a pair of antlers than some bunny ears.

 

I am also would like a Marut resculpt. But I hope they make no gender-change and keep the original design near as possible. But the current model look like a bloodpressure venom during building time.

Probots are in dire need of an resculpt. The design is just weird. But at least I have one, painted :-) I think the Rudra could be used as a basis.

New Myrmidons could be a thing. But most old sculpts, like the first PH box are fine. Ekdromois could also use a update and there is still a missing hacker profile.

Maybe the Code One box with Aleph part will feature SP rework ... in two years or so ...

 

Yeah, I wish they'd update the pictures on the site. Likewise I bought an old Anaconda off ebay and didn't notice the base was wrong until I built it up and then was looking around...

Speed fins! I also love the four arms even though no pilot, so they're not needed and don't mimic each other at all.
The Posthuman Mk1/2/3 box needs a redesign the most I think, but the Mk3 is a much better example of ALEPH's odd sensibilities than the Marut IMO. :)

But, if they do redesign some of the remote TAGs like the Marut, it'd be nice to have some sign of the Karkata/Crabbot or whatever fitting in there.

 

At this point happy with anything we get. Just itching to be able to get back into stores to roll dice with my friends, drink and have a great time.

...but yeah Phalanx sculpt updates and N4 have me itching for action.
