Here's a fun discussion that works across all NA2, and every faction in Infinity for that matter. Which units do you consider worth taking with the Soldiers of Fortune ITS extra, and why?

Units: Authorized Bounty Hunter, Avicenna, Aida Swanson, Bashi Bazouks, CSU, Cube Jagers, Emily Handleman, Father Lucien Sforza, Hannibal, Highlander Caterans, Kaplan Tactical Services, Knauff, Krakot Renegades, Laxmee, Libertos, Major Lunah, Miranda Ashcroft, Monstruckers, Raoul Spector, Uhahu, Wardrivers, Wild Bill, Le Muet, Druze Shock Teams, Anaconda TAGs, Scarface & Cordelia, Saito Togan, Carmen Johns, Mushashi, McMurrough, Senior Massacre, Valkyrie, Yojimbo, and Yuan Yuan.

Personally, I think Aida Swanson is a fantastic killer for her cost. Hannibal gives an interesting Lieutenant choice in armies with generally bad options, similarly, he or Emily both give you a solid Chain of Command unit as well. Obviously Saito, Valkyrie and McMurrough smash AC2s like nobodies business.

This might be a good place for people playing in SoF tournaments to get ideas from us players who regularly use these units anyhow.

    McMurrough
McMurrough is one of the toughest trooper in the game, incredibly reliable smoke, can kill literally anything in the game in CC and doesn't have much trouble getting there. It's hard for him not to be worth his points, especially if you have initiative.

    Yojimbo
Yojimbo not only brings smoke, but he's one of the cheapest source of perimeter weapon in the game. Perimeter weapons are insanely efficient at giving granting you DZ / mid table defense. He can chop up nearly anything he gets in CoC with (and can even do it risk-free if he manages to land a smoke and bring a Koala with him).
Yojimbo has what I consider to be one of the strongest 2 order turn1 play you can do. Set the Koalas 8" away from him in both directions, with you impetuous, create even more space between them (this way, nobody will be able to trigger both at the same time) and then use your second skill to put them on Stand-by. Every faction has access to cheap baggage, simply reload him and use his irregular to go seize control of the middle of the table.

    White Noise (Laxmee, Uhahu)
Similarly to how some factions are balanced around not having access to smoke, a lot of factions are also balanced around not having access to White Noise. This can be game changing in some metas.

    Liberto
One of the trooper responsible for tipping the balance in favour of vanilla for a lot of factions, cheap enough that you can take it no matter which other mercs you've already taken to fill out your 75 points.

    Warcors
Warcors are always a good way to fill your points, if you're already paying the 1 SWC for SoF, might aswell top off your 75 points with 2 more warcors, they always get their points worth. (even if all they do is sink a couple orders of your opponent by shooting at them)

Getting Yuan Yuans is incredibly powerful for Pano. With Joan in the list, their irregular order gets converted to a regular one. The way impetuous AD works is after they AD on the board with their impetuous order, their now regular order then gets added to the order pool.

SoF also adds some smoke options for Pano. They finally get to do some smoke tricks with their incredibly good MSV2/3 options.

I second the Warcor as a huge bonus. Having 3 warcors(4 for ForCo) is ARO hell for your opponent.
