Anyone have some insight? I think being able to give a trooper Stealth that didn't have it before is cool but can be problematic as well. I'm already thinking of this on a Su Jian for instance. For my O-12 some good ones will be Gamma, Omega, Gangbuster. Other changes: I found B-Pong is now 12" deployment zone. Previously 16".
Wouldn't consider my insight to be meaningful, but I have a feeling CB are overcomplicating an already complicated game these days. Adding new and new rules, like the Stealth Ops mid-season. Or adding the extra table with extra abilities you determine using other cards from the Operations Deck. One of my local players just came back from a tournament - says they decided to simply ignore a lot of that stuff: it was too much of a bother. I like Infinity being complex, but as with everything, there's a point when it becomes too much. I believe we have reached it. Just an opinion, though.
We got another datatracker but with another name, tactical supports are a bloat. Im tired of all seasonal rules, like turrets, QAZ creatures, supports, terrain templates, and so on and so on. 90% of the time we ignore them when playing Border skirmishes rule is ok, At least it applies to all missions in the season, not like the mentioned above, like the season all MI got advance deployment
QAZ and stuff is not so popular in my gaming group(s). Sometime we use, most of time not. The stealth ops is only for giving one troop stealth, that is has not before? Fine for some HI. But I miss something like - get an extra point when your Stealth Ops pushes the botton, is in enemy DZ at EoG or stuff like that.
