    Hi,

What do you think about riot grrl in vanilla. It's a cheap HI with lots of tricks, multi rifle, spitfire or combo blitzen are three profiles I could try in vanilla as beta strike/data tracker. What do you think about it? Did you already try them as solo in vanilla? Did you have some success/fails to comment here?

I have a good friend who uses the ML profile as an ARO piece in vanilla. She dodges on 16's, shoots and 13's and she's dirt cheap for what she brings and should she wound anyone, she has a free order to take a crap shot at what ever happens to be visible. Or don't it's your choice anyways.

I fielded some times the spitfire one as a secondary spearhead, is not bad for its cost, but neds some support and is one of the few frenzy HI without stealth, which makes her not so easy to sneak in as other options. But since Taskmaster and Kriza came, they stole her possition (even if she is cheaper)

I think She is ok in link in Bakunin. In Vanilla it's good, cheap alternative for Mobile Brigade. But if you have some spare points, Kriza or Taskmaster is a better choice.

There are a lot of stronger choices for your primary attackers. Specifically Kriza, and Intruders.

But she certainly has a place, she's cheaper than either of them and still s good fighter, and can occasionally make good use of the frenzy order.

I like the spitfire a lot as a backup attacker, and as mentioned, the ML is also a good aro option, again especially for the price.

I agree with all your comments. It's not an alpha strike, it's a back up strike, so she is a good data tracker choice. I may use it also in ARO. There are more and more camo/mimetism units in the game, her MSV1 is usefull. But yes, I should always have an intruder or kriza as alpha strike, or a szalamandra I love TAG.

They work OK alone, but you get way more value if you make the extra investment for a taskmaster. For 20 more points you get deployables, templates, and a big improvement in your LT situation.

Riot Grrl spitfire is strong by itself in 200 point games.

In BJC, she's better off in at least a haris team or odds are you can swing the points for a TM.

In vanilla, while she maybe a cheap and effective HI, she is less reliable than the more manoeuvrable and durable Hollowman spitfire or Multirifle (Which I'm surprised hasn't been brought up yet).

This normally comes down to frenzy, once a RG can no longer make use of cover they go from above average to just meh and have a harder time hiding themselves and protecting themselves from retaliation.

However they are far more resilient to DTWs and specfire thanks to hyperdynamics, and MSV1 is almost always useful. A solo RG makes one hell of a guided missile if you want to throw something up the table to make a mess with.

With the changes to shotguns that are coming in N4 in relation to shotguns the BSG RG could see some use as essentially a HI warband.

I've only played against a solo riot Grrl once, where my opponent took her as a missile launcher in vanilla nomads to deploy as the reserve drop in Biotechvore (the idea was, a hollow man would be better normally but was at greater risk from the biotechvore zone). It did really well, relative to its cost, by which I mean it was a massive pain in the arse for me.

I can see the hypothesis having merit for a more active Riot Grrl with a combi or spitfire in a different scenario, though. They're still a great buy and fury really isn't that much of a disadvantage if it comes to it. The real question is whether or not you aren't better upgrading to a premium piece or downgrading to multiple lighter pieces. But the idea is definitely worth testing - especially in N4 if they stay relatively unchanged, with 6-2 MOV and the shotgun profile, as @Tourniquet notes.

I've ran a solo Specialist Operative Riot Grrl in the past, exactly once. Actually wound up working very well as a third-turn backup scorer once the big ARO pieces were down since it could afford to take a hit when moving onto an objective and still secure it, plus the decent BS, MSV and Combi Rifle are a fine combination for wiping out common Specialists that would otherwise contest the antennae.

I've experimented with the MULTI in vanilla. It's ok in the right meta. It'll be more competitive with the Grenzer once that speeds up: W2, MULTI, and 6-2, or sensor and DTW. If DTW stays on shotguns that second wound is going to be important for camo hunting.
