As title said, is CHA completely unviable in a Tactical Window tournament? The Wulver core seems pretty expensive to still have some AROs and field coverage with Chains, but it's pretty hard to go up in orders with cheap models as Volunteers or Galwegians.

Unfortunately, I'm going to a big tournament in a couple of weeks, 5 games with TW and Spec Ops restrictions. I own the whole Ariadna roster and a good chunk of Haqqislam, but Ariadna is my first love and for sure I don't want to buy a new faction lol. So I'm doing my best to find something that fits my style and still can hold his own in this environment.
Forgive my ignorance but what does Tactical Window do? I'm mainly looking for the reason that it As Zewrath & Triumph quoted above.
my normal CHA lists have 16 troops, so no big deal losing one... And last weekend i played a TW tournament and ended 3rd place. But also Soldiers of fortune, so conclusions not valid

I think 15 orders is a very easy compromise for a lot of armies. Limited insertion itself makes many play styles entirely unworkable. But in a tournament environment, with time constraints, limiting to 15 orders is still extremely flexible.
N4 will be out by then so who knows. Regardless, IP over the last two years hasn't been a good representation of a serious competitive event because of the modifiers that warp game balance the same way tactical window does.
you cant organize a world level tournament changing the rules 15 days before. IP will be the last N3 tournament.
CHA is fine in Tactical Window. One thing to remember is that you don't need to have one group of 10 and one of 5, you can go 8 and 7, which works better in many cases.
CHA is total crap in LI, but I've won enough tournaments with what were basically TW lists (16 Troopers to be precise) that I find most of this thread's hyberbole to be pretty funny.
