It just came to me that in StarCo Irmandinhos could take a Zondbot. I guess it's kinda a good and very cheap way to boost the Rems, because you can use the cheap Irregular Order and Impetuous one to follow the big attack Remotes.
Yap, my bad @colbrook hahaha. I though that it can be extremly funny to play with this particular profile. You can force the ARO with the Zondbot or engage both to the CC situation with some erotic results or even get a free heal with the Zondbot if is close to a Remote
I'm not sure that tactic is as good as it sounds. Especially not when considering the Irmandinho doesn't actually have MA for the stealth and courage bonuses. Pairing it with a zondbot for aggressive remote heals seems like a good idea, though.
Okay, it does not actually got MA so no Stealth, but he carries SGranades at 17s what is a good way to get closer to CC. In about 80% the games that I´ve seen an Irmandihno, it got to CC. Now with that Zondbot it becames a way more better just for 3 points. Also,as you said, can be paired well with the Zondbot for Aggresive heal support. Free Order to heal seems to be so good to don´t do that, even if is just a Flash Pulse remote. Remember Secondary Missions.
Yeah that's pretty much what I like most about the Sectorial: Tsyklon and Lunokhod supported by a HD+ from Uhahu, a cool Irmandinho Zondcat duo and a link team (guess Riot Grrls or Mobile Bridge, Senior M and Avicianna will be brutal, but I am way more curious about Brawlers and Raoul Spector, if they also would link with Emily that would be a dream). It isn't that far from Bakunin though (which is why I am hoping for a elite LI link team).
It's basically Bakunin on steroids, really. The only thing you're missing is uberfalkommando and the observance units. Sure, that is a tradeoff, but I think you gain more than lose in the trade
I don´t feel that StarCo is any kind of "Bakunin on Steroids" or that stuff. I mean, StarCo seems to be an specialist army with technical part that comboes between them. Irmandihno with Zondbot, Emily with Riot (In my opinion I think that Emily will be in this link team), Mobile Brigada + Avicena + Massacre, Jaguar + MSV Brawler... I think this will work as a Combo. (And I´ll hope any kind of Inspiring Leadership in Raoul Spector) I only feel a bit sad of AVA 1 on AlHawwa or didn´t have any other regular infiltrator... but shit happens
How? I'm not trying to be negative, I just don't get it, as I cannot imagine Bakunin without moderators and Observance units. You only have Riot Grrls and Avicenna, while the rest is Corregidor and new characters or links.
In bakunin you either focus on the observance models or the heavy infantry links. I see here that people play mostly for spammy lists and I guess observance is better than that. But if you're someone like me who prefers HI cqb then there's little reason not to go for StarCo as they give access to much better HI links. If anything, I might not play a nomad sectoral again for a long time now. I'll stick to either StarCo or Vanilla nomads
i play all kind of bakunin, from moderator core links, to observance core, to riot grrl core, and mixe of partial core with riot haris. sometime low model TAG list or duo taskmaster; sometime model spam with bunch of cheap morlock. And i feel like StarCo is more corregidor than bakunin. Likely because there are a lot of nomad model in there which i don't have. There are more corregidor exclusive model in starco than bakunin exclusive models in there. I don't know how exactly corregidor plays but i'm sure HI core link is just as much a theme of Corregidor as it is a Bakunin theme.
Perhaps you are right and I need to get mysefl some observance models and see if I can mix and match stuff. I have only started collecting nomads about three months ago after all. That being said, I still feel StarCo will have better options than either Nomad Sectorial.
Wouldn't using D-charges with Burst2 consume two charges at once? Seems very effective if you need to destroy something large like a TAG or AC2, but I see no reason to use it otherwise.
by the way when spending the Impetuous order does the zondbot have to follow impetuous movement rules as well?
