The latest FAQ states: That means that, RAW, an attacker standing in ZeroVis zone cannot declare an Intuitive Attack against a non-Camo model outside of any ZVZs (but still can declare it on Camo markers). The way I understood the aim of that particular entry, it was intended to clarify that one cannot simply declare Intuitive Attack for the sake of getting a roll on a DTW, but maybe I'm mistaken. Is that interaction intended?
IMO "Inside" should really read "LoF blocked by" as that's the wording used in Intuitive Attack. I think it's pretty clear this was designed to stop people forcing a roll with DTWs.
The FAQ should have been defined in another way that makes clear that the requirement is to not be able to shoot a pistol against the target as the first short order xD
I think RAW... he can do so with the Flamethrower as long as the enemy is within the smoke template, if he were a morlock inside smoke, RAW he cannot attack intuitively an enemy outside of the smoke template with his Chain Rifle
