Trying to catch up on the podcasts. Really enjoyed the Tanks episode, thank you very much for the work! I know I like off-Tanks as well as using implied threat to deal with my opponents. Don't use hard/dedicated tanks very often. I need to branch out.
Yeah, a hard tank can be a good pick. Maxiumus isn't taken as often as he should be imho, he is way more mobile than it initially looks, and he really can control the part of the board he is in. He can make a real dilemma for people, killing him takes a lot of work, targeting the rest of his team gives him a lot of extra movement.
The trick is to let go of his attack. He's an Aristo with a move of 6 (or more), but no attack (except when he's already in position).
