I'll update this once I get home.

This thread is meant for people to let their creative spirit flow and post their character creations in Infinity, be it from the RPG or simply from your imagination. Ideally, post a picture of the miniature the represent the character alongside it. If you have art too, all the better!

I'll be posting mine and potentially more world building informations with it.

A simple rule before you may go wild: Be nice to each others. Offering advices and commentaries is good, but wild critism without reasons is prohibited.

Alright, let's get started! Many of the characters I'll post were made using the RPG Lifepath system.

    Celeste Fuentes Geringer
Born in Clausewitz City on Neoterra, Celeste is the daughter of an almost legendary special force operative, Maria Fuentes, and a high ranking police officer, Benedict Geringer. Unfortunately, her father died when she was still young and Maria had to raise her alone. Not wanting her daughter to be defenseless, she trained her from quite an early age, setting her naturally on the path of a military career.

As she entered her teenage years, she tried her hand at dating, but quickly realized that boys didn't interest her. As a rather shy girl though, not much of her efforts reached fruition. And so as the years went on, she decided instead to focus on her studies. Just as she was about to complete highschool, however, her geist began to act strangely. It soon became apparent that it had evolved into an Aspect of ALEPH. As they closely monitored such events, the O-12 contacted Celeste to recruit her in Bureau Toth, the AI surveillance agency. She was to monitor her Geist's actions and pursue rogue AIs should the need arise.

She operated for four years. On one mission, she ended up mixed in the hunt for a slaver ring in the Human Edge. Even though her task did not require involvement, she helped law enforcement dismantle the ring. It was during this assignment that she met with Kristina Chechik. Although at the time she was too shy to do anything about, Kristina would one day come back in her life in a big way.
After roughly five years, her geist returned to its old personality. While she could have remained with Bureau Toth, she instead decided to go for her planned career and enlisted with the Neoterran Bolts.

Her time with the special forces turned out to be quite eventful, ranging from a surprising sunken treasure hunt on Varuna, to a tour on Paradiso where, during a forced retreat, she was pinned down and only escaped thanks to the help of Order Knight Felix Romero, though her heroism in the conflict earned her a promotion. One particular event happened during an operation on a station in the Human Edge. A rogue meteor hit the station she was on, causing it to slowly head toward the sun. Teaming up with Capitaine Arnaud Leman of Dawn, she managed to escape, though the event left her with recurring nightmares. After a few years, she was sent to a special program meant to build trust between the various factions of humanity. She met Toshiro Hamada there, a ninja from Yu Jing, who though her various new languages, but also Kristina again. Seizing her chance, she asked her out. They have been together for four years now.

After her time with the Bolts, Celeste return to O-12, this time as a Bureau Noir agent. She was promoted to Commander and given her own team. She quickly recruited Kristina and Toshiro, before reaching for Arnaud and Felix, both of whom agreed to join. During a mission on Paradiso, they came upon a Morat convoy carrying prisoners. Hidden, they witnessed as the only prisoner, a female, broke free of her restraints, killed three guards and ran toward them. Forced into action, Celeste and her group eliminated the last guards and were surprised when the female surrendered. Zera, the morat, wanted to defect. A week later, she was placed in their team.

    Aurlena Sheppard
This one is very heavily influenced by Starcraft, as you may have guessed.
There was a project. A secret project, within the already secretive Ghost program. That project was Specter. It was an attempt to increase the mental and psychological capacities of the subject even further than those of a normal Ghost agent. Most if not all of these new Specters eventually would go rogue.

Alongside this was another project. Seeing how the technological aspects of the Ghosts was left undeveloped, a Hypercorp seized the opportunity and began developing their own program parallel to the Specters. Dubed Phantom, this project focused entirely on cybernetic upgrades and technological advances. Only a single prototype was produced, Aurlena Sheppard. A former Ghost operative and soldier, she was enhanced with the absolute peek technology could afford. The results were incredible. Aurlena was stronger, had far better reflexes and her abilities overall rivaled those of the best Ghosts and Specters. She was a complete success.

Unfortunately, the project was plagued with other problems. Although successful beyond imagining, the cost was staggering even for a single subject. The Hypercorp spent nearly a quarter of its assets on Aurlena. Plans were made to produce less advanced prototypes that could be mass produced, but other problems quickly surfaced. First, the enhancement procedure was inhuman and gruesome, and should it comes to light, could bankrupt the corp, not to mention get all involved put on trial.

Secondly, it was soon discovered that the usual memory wipes and control chips were disrupted by the cybernetics and enhancements. Returning from her second test mission, Aurlena put her plan into action. She had been hiding the fact her mind was entirely her own, preparing to take down her torturers. Her rampage through the facility effectively destroyed it. The project was over.

In the following week, the Hypercorp faced complete destruction as its experiments and projects were exposed, although the identity of the subject was not revealed. Curiously, most of the company's funds also vanished, and high ranked members that managed to avoid legal repercussions were soon found dead. Who caused this commercial empire to crumble, and were all the money went, was never found. Some claimed EI involvement, while some thought a vengeful phantom was the cause.

Aurlena herself went on to join the Dragon Knight, an independent faction seeking to better the Sphere and fight against its enemies. She was recruited within Squad Zero, the most elite squad of the Knights. She owns a beach house on Earth that is far too costly for the wage of a soldier, paid with, according to her, a "lucky break at a casino once".

    Kristina Chechik
Born into the relative stability of Tunguska, Kristina's childhood was quiet, except for one episode. While she was playing around, she ended up lost and stumbled upon a strange, hidden room. Inside was a server which contained a single AI. The server was breaking down however and the AI was reaching the end its "life". A compasionate child, Kristina stayed with it and they talked until the AI finally shut down for good. At the end, it rewarded her with a chip containing the secret to retaining your full mental abilities in a new Lhost. This she kept a secret to all but those closest to her.

Time went on and as Kristina pursued technical studies, her best friend decided to join the Mobile Birgada. Unfortunately, an accident resulted in his death. It came to a shock to her when no one seemed to care about him in the end. Dishearted, she began to doubt the Nomads and no more than a year later, she sneaked abord a ship to COncilium, where she defected to O-12. As she continued her studies there, she developped considerable skills in hacking and information gathering. This set her on the path of becoming a journalist. She acquired some reknown until one fatal investigation on a slaver ring in the Human Edge. It was at this time that she first met Celeste, but nothing could happen at the time and she was forced on the run. She did not escape, however and was killed.

Kristina had anticipated this danger and had set up a fund, largely taken from criminals she had helped take down, to pay for the best Lhost she could get, a custom built Siren Lhost. Mere weeks after her death, she was back in action. This time, however, she joined the O-12 Bureau Aegis as an intelligence agent. Her first task was to dismantle the very criminal empire that had killed her, which she did with resounding success.

Some years later, she was sent as a supervisor to the multi-faction program. There she once more met Celeste, which quickly resulted in a still standing relationship. Soon, both of them formed a Spec Ops team for O-12. It wasn't long before the entire team started working closely with the Dragon Knights, acquiring the name "Squad 7" as their second most elite team, frequently teaming up with Squad Zero.

I'm reserving this because I tend to go overboard.

I'll post a pic tomorrow of one character that I've got a model that I'm happy about. Other ideas will be posted over time with a somewhat small summary about them.

Give it a shot. I would be interested to see Eddie or something that closely resembles him.

Eddie Macayana. Former Uberfallkommando, now working for various Tunguska law firms as a troubleshooter for hire. Stands about 7'4" tall and ~330lbs, but that's lighter than Shaq or Yao Ming. Very skinny for the height.

Unfortunately, the first half of the current forum RP was on the previous forum, but Solodice was organized enough to save a PDF of that thread. The current thread is in the Modiphius subforum, titled Sunz Never Rest.

    Lil pic update.

I don't think I'll join the forum RP. It's not something I'm big on. Too slow and can get messy, in my opinion.

That's fine, Sunz has been going on for 2 years now. I really wish it was possible to have merged the old forum posts into the new one, so people could read the story from the beginning.

Got a bit inspired by this page and invented a story in my head wilst I was painting my latest Ikari Company Member:

    Bashi Bazouk - Mei-Ling

Mei-Ling always found it hard to fit in. Although the StateEmpire tolerates all religions nowadays, Mei-Ling's Muslim family background meant she grew up as minority in a largely Han neighbourhood on Shentang. Fierce and proud, her status as an outsider saw her get into numerous scraps as teenager and she became tarred as a troublemaker with antisocial tendencies by the local authorities. Booted out of school and hanging with the local Yakuza, she surprised everyone when she volunteered for military service, the Tiger Soldiers no less, and seemed to turn her life around.

She excelled in the Tiger Soldier regiment, hurtling into the thick of battle and smashing aside the enemies of the StateEmpire. Her fierce independence was channelled into audacious bravery and she had finally brought pride to her family name by becoming a true patriot of the StateEmpire. All was well for Mei-Ling for a time as her reputation as an elite soldier grew, however slowly and surely a pill of bitterness grew in her heart as she saw other lesser candidates promoted instead of her.

Suspecting that her background was handicapping her career prospects, Mei-Ling sought some soul searching and turned to New Islam, fully embracing her faith. Then the Japanese uprising swept across the Sphere like a tsunami and Mei-Ling found herself partaking in heavy handed military actions that saw massacres of civilians on her home world. Not wholly burdened by a bad conscience, but unable to stomach the hypocrisy of the StateEmpire any longer, Mei-Ling defected to Haqqislam with the help of her Yakuza contacts and joined up with the Bashi Bazouk mercenaries.

Still a bit of an outsider as a Yu Jing defector amongst her new comrades, she has nonetheless earned their respect as she hurtles into the thick of battle like she was born to do. Mei-Ling cuts a distinct silhouette in her Tiger Soldier armour amid her fellow Bashi but it is her fearless and ruthless efficiency that truly stands her apart. Contracting with Ikari Company has had its questionable moments, but the pay is good and she has had many chances to payback those hypocritical StateEmpire lackeys for their ignorance.
