I'd actually be more interested in what is happening in March, as it is supposed "to make Uprising look like nothing", New Book is the best bet, although we (hopefully) wouldn't have reason to complain about N4 at all.
We don't need a new edition. A new book would be great updating the SpecOps and Campaign rules. As for March...I have no idea. They said last GenCon that the "Uprising" N would make everyone mad and nothing will be the same and really...it was just Yu Jing and everyone else had a great time. So them saying "It will make Uprising look like nothing" is pretty loaded.
I'd like just a rules cleanup, honestly. Fix some of the dumb stuff that happened when N3 came out (AD and Chain of Command, for example.) Maybe a book to revisit a lot of the older factions?
Carlos had already said that 2019 would be year of the Alien. I was thinking a divergent Tohaa sect - or even Sygmaa. That or the hallowed return of Exrah as an Alien Merc Sectorial.
Year of the Alien starting off with the release of the Invincible Army... :headscratch: Could make an argument for the Tohaa Triumvirate/Illuminati, but I'm not really sure how different they'd be on the tabletop from regular Tohaa. I'd like to see some more Exalted troops, to be honest. Exrah as either more Combined or NA2 troops would be interesting. Hope CB decides on a unified look for the bugs, though. Part of the problem with the original Exrah is that the different troops didn't look like they were the same species. The Super-Jump bugs (Iskaller?) and the Caskuda looked related, but the others didn't.
I mean, if it's the year of the alien, only fair we lowly humans get a little nudge up to make sure we can still catch up with killing them. INB4 some convoluted Sepsitorization cure plot.
It was all a ruse all along, Ko Dali leads a faction of CA refugees to the Human Sphere, convinced that the Humans can sufficiently buy time to stop CA, and sets up shop as a new NA-2 army.
