So, had a situation almost come up in a game last week, where one of my impetuous troops triggered an Emauler that clipped another Imp troop behind who had not yet used his impetuous order. Question is, what would have happened if I had failed that BTS roll and gone isolated/impetuous before spending the order? Which "Must do" takes precedent, the impetuous rule or the isolated rule?
I think this is a case of during impeteous model being forced to spend order and idle -idle. While idle isnt a standard case that is allowed during that order, it's the way i imagine it's done in the same case as if a impeteous model was immobilized and needed to spend his order. Edit: Misunderstood question, sorry
Isolated prevents you spending orders from your Order Pool. Impetuous orders aren't added to your Order pool. Therefore, Isolated does not stop you spending an Impetuous order. However, I'd argue it does prevent you spending a Regular order to restrain an Extremely Impetuous trooper. Re: IMM and Extremely Impetuous. The Extremely Impetuous trooper must still spend the Order, so effectively it becomes Idle + Move (fails to Idle)*. *Or the game breaks if you don't allow known invalid declarations. [emoji14]
