Does attacking with impact template weapons against enemies in cover, does the attacker takes the cover negative mod for it or does being a template weapon negate it? Such as attacking an enemy in cover with a shotgun
Shotguns in blast mode are impact weapons. Templates all ignore the ARM bonus of Cover, but they don't ignore the negative MOD to the attacker's BS.
Attacker takes the penalty to-hit for cover (-3) - unless they have marksmanship level 2 (which would negate that one). Target cannot claim benefit of cover as bonus to armour roll (no +3 bonus to arm).
