Circular Impact Template (Grenades, Grenade Launchers, etc.): Place the center of the Circular Template (Blast Focus) over the center of the main target's base. All other troopers affected by the Template suffer the Attack as well. How high can the center of template be above the center of the main target? Example:
If you aren't firing a speculative shot, you definitely need to have the template blast focus actually in contact with the silhouette you're targeting. So while it may be legal to shoot a circular template directly at your Main Target's head instead of at his feet, you can't off-center it completely off of the target trooper altogether.
Personally, I'd say yes. So as the active player you would obviously choose 2 if that's two enemies and 1 if that's an enemy and something that would cancel the template (civvy or friendly). That said, I don't think the template is that small compared to the sillys :P.
I believe so, as long as the blast focus is on the silhouette of your main target, it should be valid. Much like how you can angle a shotgun blast along different lines between the shooter and the target to angle the resulting teardrop template and catch different secondary targets. Of course, in your example, it strikes me that in many cases where there is less than Total Cover between the two potential targets, the blast focus could still be at the main targets base instead of head and still draw a line that would clip the secondary target. (See my blue line) Like @Sabin76 said, I think your circular template is extremely out of scale to a standard S2 silhouette. ;)
It can be only on yellow line(above the center, not any other point of base)(as wiki says) Let's imagine S7)
Yes, I was just demonstrating using your drawing, but as we said I think there are scale issues with how you're contriving your example. I can't think of a time I've ever seen partial cover go exactly that high and stop short of being Total Cover.
Simple container(paper from starter) or a wall and 2 TAGs.(The container is a little bit wider, but who cares) The artist can be offended by everyone, but I can redraw if you want) So, was I right in the second example (despite the scale)?
It's not a big deal. But that does also change things a bit, since they'll be much further apart. In essence, yes, I believe that should be a legitimate way to play it.
