Since I’ve now started O12, I’m going to be dealing a lot more with Immobilized. I want to make sure I’m getting a few things correct. Especially when things are combined. To negate the effect of: IMM-A, Dodge -6 IMM-B, Reset -3 Isolated, Reset -9 Targeted, Reset -3 I know that if there’s a combination of IMM-B and Isolated (from E/M ammo or Carbonite and Oblivion), they are both a reset and cumulative. So, it’s a Reset -12. Now my question is on the other combinations. For example, an already Isolated figure is then hit with IMM-A, I would think two orders would need to be spent, one Reset on the Isolated, and one Dodge on the IMM-A. I think this would also be the case if it’s IMM-A (Dodge) and Targeted (Reset).
Away from my rules, but some of the conditions disallow certain actions and thus you can't do the thing to get rid of the thing. You have to check for that too.
Funny thing is: Beeing in Imm-A state and IMM-B at once, you are basicly in the most close-to dead situation there is, for both states limit you to a skill the other forbids you to use. Luckily, if a engineer comes by, you just have to succesfully WIP to get rid of both states at once. You are partially right: You need two orders to get rid of both states, but you have to start with the Dodge, since IMM-A forbids to declare any other skill apart from Dodge. That means, due to the nature of Isolated, you most of the time are stuck with 1 order, which you need to Dodge, and after that you don´t have anything left to reset. Funny thing i remembered wrong: You are also not allowed to use skills like Discover/Alert/Warning. I realy thought you are allowed to look and shout in case you are stuck in your armor or glued to the ground, but it seems not
Isolated is Reset WIP -9. Thusly the combinations of Isolated and Immobilized B or Isolated and Targeted require a WIP -12 to reset the states.
You forgot Bøygs, Uhlans, Cutters, Diggers, Dragões, Seraphs, Squalos (Mk 1 & 2), Tikbalangs & Triphammers
Oops yes sorry. I changed that in the original post. So if they are the same test, all reset, they add together. if it's Dodge and a Reset it's two and the Dodge one must be first. Man I so want to hit a TAG with a E/Marat and a Riotstopper!
I don't quite understand this. After you succeeded dodge don't you still need to reset to get out of Isolated state?
But if you're isolated then you can only spend one order, meaning you won't be able to clear both states in the active turn (without an engineer)
