    Discussion and advice on the ITS:9 mission Hunting Party.

    SCORING:
    (10 points max possible)
    • Connect an Antenna with a Specialist (1 Objective Point each for the two Antennas).
    • Hunt Down more enemy Specialist Troops than the adversary (2 Objective Points).
    • Hunt Down as many enemy Lieutenants as the adversary (3 Objective Points, but only if at least 1 Lieutenant is Hunted Down by the player)
    • Hunt Down more enemy Lieutenants than the adversary (4 Objective Points).
    • Each player has 2 Classified Objectives (1 Objective Point each one).
    HUNTING MISSION INFO:
    A Lieutenant and a Specialist Troop are considered Hunted Down when they are in Isolated or Immobilized (IMM-1 or IMM-2) state at the end of the game.
    In this scenario, all the troopers possessing any type of Pistol have available also a Stun Pistol with no additional Cost.
    Moreover, all those troopers possessing the Veteran Troop, Elite Troop or Headquarters Troop Troop Characteristic have available also an Adhesive Launcher with no additional Cost.
    MULTI BS Weapons can use Stun Mode to shoot Stun Special Ammunition.
    In this scenario, Stun Special Ammunition causes the Immobilized-1 state instead of the Stunned state

    I'm gonna try this list. Favoring Tigers for alpha striking to kill enemy engineers and put adhesive launchers in uncomfortable places, Mad Traps for area denial, monks for smoke, warcor for aro. Is the Hsien survivable enough as an LT? I'm also debating dropping some of the expensive pieces to make room for a Hac Tao XO. The TO Camo to make him harder to glue down.

    Be careful with using a Hsien Lt in Hunting Party, because an enemy will use the ADL against him in ARO most of the time (and sometimes in active turn if they can gain his back).

    Be specially careful against the Steel Phalanx, almost everything there are veterans or characters, and beign AROed by linked 16pts myrmidons with CD12 and DDO means facing Burst 2 at -9 most of the time. And the SP Ekdromoi is an elite AD troop with AM, superjump... and for 20 pts is a bargain.

    Good point. If I drop the hsien, I can take two guilang, hide one as LT, and infiltrate the other. Or I can drop a monk and the hsien, get a camo LT, and go full AVA on tigers, putting another adhl carrying specialist where I need it on the field. If I get initiative, I'll drop the tigers and wreck house, if I go second, I'll deploy defensively to try to save as many orders as possible through the enemy's turn, even if it means giving up an antenna or midfield position.

    I should go only with one guilang, and should think about swaping the hsien and the pheasnt agent by a guilang leutinent + grulla agent ( or more crazy) a hac tao multi/shotgun ( and belive me he could glue everyone he wants xD)

    Pheasant is in there because x-visor on adhl makes him a glue-sniper. Plus madtraps.

    HacTao is a very attractive choice. If he gets hit on -9's in cover, his PH 14 means he avoids glue on 8's.

    Well glue sniper sound good but the funny part is the -12 that hac tao bring sith surprise shot. I think is a good attack choice for this mission, the problem are as always orders. Between 2 tigers and one Hac Tao you will start with not many orders. Anyways i like your list. Good luck fellow comarade

    I dropped the Hsien, and took two guilang, LT, and FO. Played against Haqislam and it was brutal. I went first and tapped an antenna with the infiltrated FO, and lost the Pheasant to an infiltrated Panzerfaust ARO. The rest of the turn I advanced into midfield and took defensive positions with mines and madtraps dropped. Second turn he moved up enough that I had space to drop my Tiger's in and break his MSV2 HMG that was punishing my skirmishers thru a wall of smoke. He didn't bring many specialists so I couldn't very well hunt anyone, so it was a pretty bloody firefight. His LT, Tariq, was turtled under a ledge that I couldn't get a bead on even with a leanout from the Tiger on the roof. My dual engineers earned their keep with breaking IMM-2. The Warcor was a great ARO piece with flashpulse, and twin stun pistols in the active turn. Other than buffing the drop troops, the Pangolin EVO was kinda useless, and could be replaced by a cheaper hacker I think. I didn't get to make use of baggage to resupply mines or madtraps. I have time before the tournament to test this again, and I want to try it again with a HacTao. Hidden Deployment with an Adhesive launcher would be a nice path to bag some specialists or LTs. With the monks and KSCD I want to and some MSV2 somewhere. Maybe try a bao sniper.

    It was a Tie :( neither side ended with specialists or LT's captured, so it came down to Antenna and Classifieds. We didn't count up Army points at the end, but it would have been close there too.
