Have a tournament coming up this weekend, LI and Soldier of Fortune, 2 missions are TAG missions and the other two are Frontline and Hunting Party.

It seems like a DoTanko core is pretty good in this mission, E/M grenades making them a solid pick. Having difficulty picking out an Lt though. Initially I thought Oniwaban may be a good pickup. Infiltrating TO means I can put it in marker state anywhere on the board. Seems like a big point sink for the mission.

I have very little experience with HP outside of Nomads, anybody have strategies that have worked well for them in the past they'd be willing to share?

Onibawan and Shikami are both Elite troops, consequently they get a free ADL. Those guys really know how to use it!
    Happy hunting!

Don't forget that your martial arts specialists can use stun pistols in CC. It's dope.

This is one of the only missions where I think the Shikami is not only playable but maybe even recommended.

Hunting party favors specialists who get ADHLs -- because when they shoot your specialist, they're risking killing it instead of ADHLing it -- and visual mods make a big difference in B1 fights. The same goes for the Oniwaban, who does amazing things with the surprise shot ADHL in the DZ.

That's true, but they just lack the sheer mobility and visual mods. If you want to go actively hunting down enemy specialists, dragging along a full five-man linked team can be rather cumbersome. Maneuvering a single trooper is much easier especially with superior infiltration (popping out of hidden deployment) or climbing plus. (Maybe it's just me. I'm not a good player...)

Well in most cases I would bring the fireteams anyway to act as support and dealing with non specialist threats. And well burst 2 BS 15 is pretty good I would say even without the visual mods. Also both bring EM weapons on top so..

But sure the infiltrating once are great too..
