Does holomask cancel if you deploy a mine or repeater ? It says it cancels if you attack or do a roll. Deploying something is neither imho your just plonking something down.
Thanks. Seems silly and gives holomask a null purpose now. Unless some one flukes a sensor near you all you’re doing is bluffing but the limitations of the bluff seem very constrictive.
This should actually go to rules thread, but yes, holomask is as far as i can tell mostly useful for deployment shenanigans, deceiving opponents about the contents of your force, and thus forcing him into unnecessary caution or, in case of masking a powerful piece into a harmless one to bait out a careless attack. But more qualified players can probably provide more insight.
