How is the interaction if I want to buff a REM (Lu Duan) with supportware that is in Holoecho state? 1.) Assume the Lu Duan (which has a repeater) uses holoecho1 and is disguised as another remote with repeater, can I buff the false remote without revealing the Lu Duan? 2.) Assume the Lu Duan uses the Holoecho L2 skill and is in Holoecho state. Can I buff the model without revealing the real model? Can I buff the Lu Duan without loosing the Holoecho state? I assume yes, because it is not listed under cancellation, but I'd like to have a clarification.
It looks like it won't reveal Holo1 (as it's not a marker state) but will definitely reveal Holo2. . http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Repeater Repeater + Impersonation or Camouflage and Hiding Troopers or pieces of Equipment that have Repeater in addition to any Special Skills that allows them to act as Markers instead of figures (Camouflage and Hiding, Impersonation...) reveal themselves automatically if a friendly Hacker attempts to use their Repeater ability. Hackers cannot use a repeater carried by an enemy trooper in a Marker state.
A) There is a rule that using a Repeater reveals it. But Holo 1 is not a marker state and doesn't seem to be covered by this rule (the ... would apply to any other skill that allow to act as markers instead of figure; holo allow to act as a figure). So i'm not sure. I'd say you reveal but RAW it looks like you don't reveal. B) You'll drop marker state if you use his Repeater, but if you use someone else repeater you could buff all 3 models (the real + 2 echos) as they all share/duplicate markers. I'm assuming here that Supportware is a game state marker.
Ok, the usage of the repeater reveals it, thats a shame. Then I have another two questions. If I can place my hacker next to the real Lu Duan and buff without the repeater, does the Holoecho state persist? (if would then be clear which is the real model, but the surprise shot would still be viable) If I first buff the remote and the activate the Holoecho state, does the Supportware buff carry over to all models? - edit- Yes, to both questions because of this?:
