Fellow artichokes, I have the chance to participate at this year's Interplanetary. Before missions were announced I decided to dust off my Tohaa collection for that event. But then the announcement came: Highly Classified one of the missions, Limited Insertion and Soldiers of Fortune active => interesting times for Tohaa.

Actually my other list is more or less OK for the other 5 missions. But even with full concentration on HC I could not come up with a list I like. No specialist redundancy, no STR model to repair, no assassin taking out key specialists, no makauls smoking their way to the HVT. :(

Here is what I have come up with so far but any help would be highly appreciated:

Looks like a good list though I might change the Kosuil engineer for a Sakiel FO or Paramedic. You don't need an engineer if you don't have the structure objective and you have units with D-charges. The Sakiel gives you a redundancy specialist and the option to use nimbus plus for pain trains that may be fielded.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the late reply. List A took all my attention up until a recent tournament - where it scored three majors so List A may rest for a while now. :D

List B aka "why oh why does it have to be highly classified?!" dropped the Kosuil as suggested and when I found the strength to overcome my Kaeltar-fetish (At the interplanetario I will play only 10 not 12 in total) there was room for the toolbox that is the Gao Tarsos paramedic with d-charges.

I should also mention that List B now needs to take care of Supplies as well so the ARO triad and the Clipsos are 99% fixed.

Still not happy with it. I miss the second Kaeltar. (OK, back to therapy.) And I am not totally sold on those Soldiers of Fortune. (Uhahu mre than Avicenna). Feedback still very welcome. :)

Perhaps you can elaborate what you get from both Aelis and Uhahu. For me they are both doing the same thing, and I think Uhahu does it better thanks to the pitcher.

You are right in that Uhahu gets the hacking job done better. (And the FO job too)

Maybe this is just me being too conservative here. As I am already excluded from one classified (No STR => no engineer) I want to prevent a situation from happening, where all my opponent needs to do is kill one specialist to leave me with only one of the four classifieds possible to fulfil.
    In short: Redundancy.

Plus I like the HMG+K1+Viral attack triad in my List A and Aelis completes that. Also I view sensor as a bonus in a mission that rewards infiltrating camo/TO specialists with easy(ish) objective points.

But I am not clinging to her in any way. I might "downgrade" her to another specialist or even just another viral rile (Sakiel) and see what good those saved points can do.

Sure but the Interplanetario uses Limited Insertion and it ist hard to find a place for the 15ish points left over by a kaauri.
(Gorgos ist the one Tohaa I do not own and do not intend to buy.)

As triads are first and foremost the Tohaa version of marriage, inner circle of family and group of really good friends: No. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Never would a proud Tohaa allign himself in such a way with a low slav... well... I mean: creature whose WIP-score was raised just enough to recognise Tohaa as benevolent masters.

And regarding triad = marriage: please let us not go into any details about poor Kotails marrying their imaginary friends or about whatever the Kerail's problem is.

Gamewise it would be totally awesome though...

Sukeuls should get a vulkan shotgun engineer specialist with Dcharges just because Sukeuls need to be more ridiculous

You are right. I reread that and there are two forms of triads: family triads (HS p.244) and combat triads (HS p.246). I guess it is safe to assume that all we see on the table are combat triads. Still I somehow like to think of the Kotail as the poor guy bonding with his imaginary friends. ;)

Edit: had to change one artichoke variety to another

Can you describe the artichoke who did this to you? - No, but I heard its name. It was three syllables ending with an L. - Thank you, that will help.

    Aka: I stand corrected
