I am pretty new to Tohaa being mostly a Nomad player.
Trying to build a llst for Highly Classified is giving me pause due to the lack of a proper hacker.

I am very interested in what list some of you might build for this mission.
As for the meta I have no idea.
I am sure Tohaa is fine for the mission and I am trying to avoid defaulting back to Nomads lol.

HC is the most difficult mission for tohaa. You will miss many things from nomads.
Anyways here are my ideas. Gaotarsos paramedic is close to tomcat doctor.
Forget about spotlight. You will miss it so much.
You have to march to push the buttons and have to face the hits.
On dcharges we are good but still we dont have a prowler. Gaotarsos and sukeuls are good still.
Our only hacker sucks while we are best at paramedics.
Kill things and make the hacking mission later.
    Well. We suck at HC.

Yeah hacking objectives kinda suck but tohaa have the advantage of cheap nullifies. This actually stops one classified (spotlight or FO) from being able to be done which is a good.

The two hacking objectives are a bit tough for tohaa but aelis with nullifiers in triad or kamael Whd aren't terrible. Other objectives are actually quite easy thanks to triad order efficiency and cheap eclipse smoke. Makayla being in each triad give your specialist such a boost to getting where they're needed.

I think you're feeling a lack of hackers because you're coming from The Hacking Faction to the Biotech Faction. But rest assured, there is no weakness for Tohaa in Highly Classified. Even the old Test Run problem is gone now that Kaauri have arrived.

    1. All hackers complete hacking classified objectives the same way. Makes no difference what kind of hacking device you have. The only thing they're missing is the ability to use Spotlight for Telemetry, where Tohaa have no shortage of other options, and those options are very, very strong.
    2. In Highly Classified, able to form links around which cards get drawn by choosing fireteam composition after the cards are drawn.
    3. Tohaa have amazing options in every other category of specialist:
    • One of only 3 armies that can add every type of specialist to a fireteam. It goes up to 1 of 5 armies if you count linkable Paramedics as doctors.
    • The only 2 wound engineer in the game
    • One of only 2 engineers with minelayer
    • The only trooper able to complete Telemetry in ARO
    • Cheapest doctor+engineer & only linkable doctor+engineer
    • Cheapest TO forward observer
    • Cheapest 2 wound paramedic
    • Only 2 wound AD paramedic
    • Ability to add symbiomates to Kosuil, Sakiel, Taqeul, Sukeul Specialists
In short, have no fear. Tohaa are doing fine at Highly Classified.

I do not want to spit in your soup locksmith, but the mine layer option is no engineer
