Hello, I am a new YuJing player with little experience in tournament (I did one last year with Onyx) and I have one coming at the beginning of november. I decided to start my YuJing army for this occasion but I am a little bit lost. For now, that's what I got. The tournament will be 3 round, Unmasked, Power Pack and Countermeasure. 2 have exclusion zone and one saturation zone. I was thinking to have at least one list with a Sptifire Sun'jian (I love the model) to move fast and start killing things (Unmasked). For Countermeasure I need lots of specialists. But what else to put? What kind of list to make? There is so many things. I already have a lot of mini and don't mind buying more. So if you have any idea, please let me know. Thanks a lot
I assume you're leaning towards vanilla YJ? There is nothing wrong with the humble Weibing Combi+FO remote. Actually, it's so useful I have one in almost every list! (And for when I'm not playing YJ/JSA, the equivalent combi+FO remote still shows up) Maybe something like this? Yes, I am learning toward Vanilla yujing. Thanks a lot for the advice and the list. I can see the use of the Weibing but I have some problème to see how the list will work. Why ZuYong has the lieutenant? Except the 2 wounds armour 3, I don't see what he brings on the table. BS is not great and no skills. Same for the Shaolin, he has smoke but no MSV in the list to play with it. I think I am missing something. Sorry for all the questions. Onyx is much more straight forward.
One of the reasons many people pick that Zuyong is because he is tough. To top that off he has an Automedkit. If you loose it you will have a 60% chance to get it back and not be in LoL. This allows players to be aggressive with the LT order being spent on a good HMG unit.
And you get a .5swc discount on it. That's a solid 1swc spend mate, good Lt option given we've also got good coc options too

Dont forget to drop the RS in SF with monks around it at the end of the turn. Getting smoke on that beast in aro is awesome. When playing PP I try not to leave home without mad traps and the liberto to protect the DZs. Would have loved to fit a Lu Duan holoed as a baggage bot watching for AD troops in the gap between the DZs... Getting a guilang in would also be nice.
Exactly. Tough and decent BS makes a decent LT. That's a 1SWC discount, actually: ZÚYǑNG (AutomediKit) HMG / 2 Breaker Pistols, Knife. (2 | 39) But honestly the big reason for me is the SWC discount. I'd prefer to have a LT that isn't packing a heavy weapon to reduce the chances of me sticking my LT out to get shot, but it's hard to argue with the SWC discount. Smoke is still useful to block LOS, even if you're not using the MSV2 trick.

True enough, I was comparing Automedikit to Automedikit LT. There's also not a great number of options for LT in that list, really.
