The question is mostly in the thread title, but here it is in full - does Hannibal count as his own Ally for adding orange dice? Relevant rules text: Coordinated Assault: , add a to your Attack Roll for each of your Allies that has Line of Sight towards your Target. Allies bullet 2: Characters are Allies of themselves. @-V- is Hannibal supposed to start with and get an for each additional Ally that can see, or does he start with by counting himself as an Ally? I assume it should be the first and he starts with .
It came up because we were re-reading Laxmee's Fairy Dust and working out that she could use it because she's an Ally of herself, and then started getting doubts about Hannibal...
I wish I knew enough Spanish to determine whether the description in the Spanish language card makes this more clear. This is exactly the type of thing that -V- should explain.
ah, I didn't even think about this! I feel like you might be right, but I've never played it like this.
The inttention when written in Spanish is that Hannibal is excluded. Otherwise, his Attack would be directly. The rule about Allies came after and... It's alright, the text must be rewritten to: "Tus otros Aliados..." "Any Ally other than you..." (I don't know enough French/German to update their text) We'll mark this as an errata in our WiKi when we'll publish the FAQs. Thanks!
So, Coordinated Assault do not provide hannibal for him self. I guess Pointman also do not provide him for himself?
My interpretation was that he didn't provide the orange for himself which makes the most sense. Sounds to me like translation needs to be a little bit better
Yyy, and it would be nice if card in boxes receive update + CB release "fixed cards set" to buy with new season
perhaps as part of new tournament kits. Nothing like errata'd cards without having the cards (ie it would be nice ot have errata versions of the cards)
