I've got two questions: Someone mentioned that TAGs cannot be hacked more than once per turn. Is that correct? If so, where is that in the rules? I couldn't find anything about that in the hacking rules. What are troop classifications (Veteran Troops, etc) used for? The ITS rules say that all characters are also Veteran Troops, but what does that mean for the game? There's one ITS scenario (Hunting Party) that gives Veteran, Elite, and Headquarters Troops an adhesive launcher. Is that it?
Sounds like they're remembering something from a previous edition, I think you only got one chance to possess a TAG in N2. Some Classified Objectives are also based on troop classifications, but it's mostly a fluff/background thing.
N2 you had to pass TWO consecutive hacking attack rolls in order to possess a tag (and ONLY alien tech could hack a combine TAG - NO human hacking device could do it). This meant TWO consecutive orders (since you couldn't hack-hack for one order). EVO hacking made it easier (one roll).
