Are there any active groups in the Portland, Orgeon area? I moved back into town recently and am trying to find where to play

I think DiceAbide and Co might be in Eugene, but there’s definitely a sizable group in Portland and also across the river in Vancouver. A bunch of them are part of the Ordo Fanaticus crowd, which had its own forum as well a couple years ago but is surely on discord too.

We used to have a pretty large group in SE Portland based around Red Castle Games, but it kind of dispersed when I stopped being a Warcor. I tried to get it going again, but then the pandemic hit. I've been tempted to try again now that Red Castle is open for gaming again.

Shiv Games will be moving to the south Portland area this summer. If there's not a community now, there definitely will be once he gets set up.

I'm sure we've met, in that case. I started playing at Red Castle a few years ago, then life got in the way and I had to stop just as I was getting into the game, then covid killed anything in person... I'll definitely check out Cascadia, but I'm in SE so Red Castle sounds like the perfect spot. Let me know if you try to start something up again!

We play on Thursday nights at Glimpses of Wonder and Warfare in Sherwood, OR. Trying to get something going at Gongaii Games too. We basically do all our coordination in the Discord (as evidenced by me being 16 days late to this thread), so come on by there.

In Portland proper, I don't think there's much going on right now, especially after Guardian Games went to crap and the folks at Red Castle stopped playing. I'd suggest Gongaii or Glimpses, but those are both probably quite the drive to get to as well. Maybe head to Red Castle though and see if you can stir up some interest! Definitely be sure to get on the Cascadia discord server too.

They're going to be down in Salem, so definitely a trek from Portland. It's good though, Salem could use another good game shop.
