(EDIT) How to upload pics and paste them here? Hi community. I'd like share some bad photos of my minis. Most of Yu jing ones are not recent but it's still my main faction and aleph is kind of uprising allergic reaction. I'll try to update this thread whenever I finish somethig new or want to upload some progress. If you have any tips or idea, please tell me. I'd like to improve as much as I can. With YJ colour scheme, I tried to imitate the colour of PRC yanks and stick to realistic battlefield colours. It ended up being more of a jade which is also cool. I like the basic scheme for aleph but instead of purple, I decided to get some cerberus, orange twist. Hope you enjoy. I know that a lot of them aren't finished but I have a strange manner not to paint last details and move on to another mini. I try to fight that and aleph ones are done. And seriously. There should be easier way to upload photos from gallery. The last one is the most recent. With the arrival of coldfront, I started with yadu.
I upload to an album on imgur, then link the images directly. If you click the image button in the post editor, it should give you the option to insert an image link.
The issue with the images is that you're putting the image "page" address, instead of the image itself, so the forum software doesn't know how to present it. For example, you're putting in "//ibb.co/cUHXBV" instead of the actual image page (you get it on ibb.co by clicking on the part of the bottom that gives you the embed codes, there's one for bbcode you can use directly, and on Imgur by right-clicking the image and choosing "view image" or something like that)
If I have to upload pictures to this forum, I always do the upload first and then, before posting, copy the image url of the freshly uploaded file and use that with the URL button above. Like this: - More options - Upload a File - Right click on uploaded filename -> Copy image URL - Image icon -> Paste URL there ... tadaa! For the bulk of my images, I use Smugmug as an image hoster and do the think with the image url from there.
