I'm working on a couple lists that I can use in a pinch when I don't know the mission before I arrive at the store. First up is a Generic Button Pushers List. Being a fairly new player, what I see for button pushing is two-fold. You need specialists, obviously, and you need threats that keep your opponent focused on them while your button pushers start pushing. I love FRRM's button pushers. My favorite are the Chasseurs and the Para-Commandos. Whether its the camo + infiltration or the AD, I like to keep it difficult for my opponent to kill my button pushers before they start pushing said buttons. In addition, this list includes a few non-FO specialists. Tell me your thoughts! Button Pushers, 18 Orders ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 LOUP-GAROU Viral Rifle, Flash Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 21) LOUP-GAROU Viral Rifle, Flash Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 21) LOUP-GAROU Boarding Shotgun, Adhesive Launcher, Flash Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 18) LOUP-GAROU Boarding Shotgun, Adhesive Launcher, Flash Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 18) LOUP-GAROU Viral Rifle, Flash Light Grenade Launcher / Pistol, Knife. As a rule of thumb, when the mission is button-pushy, my go-to fireteam is the Briscards. You can take specialists and a Lt in that fireteam. A lone Briscard HRL is pretty much a vaste. He is just too expensive for ARO duties and low burst makes him less than ideal active turn hunter-killer. (The same goes for Knauf, too.) If you take Metros, take at least three. When (Not if, when!) the original fireteam bites the dust you can form a secondary fireteam. In the endgame, during the fight of the secondliners the fireteam burst bonus grants them a slight edge against similarly (un)capable firefighters. Whatever the mission is I find Mirage-5 an autoinclude. The Big Bad Wolf is 1) your only source of smoke and 2) a more than capable CC fighter. Not a bad lsit, for sure, just not for my liking. I hope this helps.
Briscards are great, especially when you have to expect camouflaged enemy. I usually get a full link, then all 4 chasseurs. Paracommandos are also great for button pushing or surprise HMG attacks. Always focus on the mission and don't waste too many orders to kill the enemy. I never use Loup Garous, they don't have HMG and look like cops. Another idea is a full link of Moblots and still 4 chasseurs.
I'm not sure if LG's link is good for bitton pushing. I would go with either 4 Paracommando FO's or Metros/Moblots link with 4 Chasseurs (2 Adhls and 2 Fos)
