    Just seeking confirmation on a couple of interactions;

    Scenario 1: I have five unlinked Daturazi in morat aggression force, all within 8" of a model that can be a potential fireteam leader. During the tactical phase but before order count, I form a link.

    Result: all daturazi are not impetuous for order count. No impetuous orders generated. Turn proceeds as normal.

    Scenario 2: identical to the above, except I delay formation of the link until after some (but not all) of the daturazi have expended their impetuous orders. (Assume impetuous moves do not carry any models out of link formation range.)

    Result: all daturazi become not impetuous regardless of whether they have unspent impetuous orders. Remaining impetuous orders are not spent. Turn proceeds as normal.

    Sound correct?

    Scenario 1: correct. You wouldn't actuallyl need to do it before the Order Count, merely before you spent any Impetuous Orders.

    Scenario 2: correct.

    Scenario 3 (the non-example): You break the link after Order count but prior to spending any Impetuous Orders during the Impetuous phase. No Impetuous orders were generated, so despite being Impetuous during the Impetuous phase they don't have any orders to act Impetuously.

    I see no reason why you can't combine 2 and 3 to (through the expenditure of Command tokens) to keep up to 25 Daturazi restrained via Fireteam mechanics.
