I'd be more inclined to drop the sensor Lt, downgrade the grenade launcher and add in a buleteer or hexa.

I really like having a grenade launcher, though. Especially since you have 4 models capable of designating targets. Only downside is that you need to be in the 8-16" range band for Speculative fire to be worth the effort.
I agree. My thought is if someone is new to a faction/sectorial, then it might be best to go with tools that don't require a lot of setup and placement to get their full effect.
