General plan - I figure the center line is going to be a bloodbath, so I wanted a super tough core to help occupy it. That's the MBs, Daktari and Senor. I'll have "three" close camo tokens (Bandit & Hardcase) to threaten the console/coffin early on (and try to take some with the Bandit) and one at a distance (Cateran) to bide her time/maneuver until a tough/multi-wound target comes into view. Knauf will be knauf'ing from the back, taking as many AROs as possible.

One thing I'm not sure about is the EVO remote. My thought is to use Controlled Jump to help my Raoul and hurt his Raoul (I know him well enough to know he's going to take him), but that seems like a very limited use, and I could either or both walking on from the sides to get to console...

    Thoughts?

Knauf isn't an ARO piece really. Leaving him out on the Reactive where you can't use his sweet, sweet +1 Burst just feels like such a waste.

A Riot Grrl is probably a better choice as a stand back ARO due to the extra Dodge, ARM, and W, thought I'll admit Frenzy is a concern. Knauf is however murder in the active with his Burst 3 MSR+Shock with a visor and Mimetism.

I'd also be tempted to swap the Cateran and Irmandinhos around in groups, the Irmie is likely to want more than 2-3 orders if he can make an objective run, and Cats don't need that many in my experience.

Part of me really want to find the points for an HMG in that Brigada team, though that might just be habit. You can use Mr. Deadpool's Eclipse grenades and Knauf to get them close.

I am concerned that you have no Killer hackers in the list, which may be of use against Tunguska. You might wish to consider removing the Hardcase and the Salyut to get two Bandit KHDs (upgrade the FO and add another). Hackers get a bonus in Acquisitions and having two bandits gives you some redundancy.

Knauf - I thought he did get his bonus shot in ARO, I'll have to adjust tactics
Killer Hackers - I've found that trying to play the hacking game against Tunguska is just a waste of time. I'll be facing a Interventer (WIP 15) at a minimum if not another hacker and maybe Mary Problems. Against that, I don't see how a WIP 12 Bandit is anything but free points...

Totally legit concerns but see the KHD Bandit as a tool to fulfil your mission rather than an actual competent hacker... in Aquisition your Hackers and Engineers will get a WIP +3 and a second dice for the Console rolls. This makes the Bandit surprisingly good --> 2x WIP15
But apart from that I'd bet you'll face the linked marksmanship Grenzer sniper who luckily has an MSV 1 which you can abuse with Uhahu's White noise. Therefore this would be my list idea:

This is the latest iteration, taking advice from above. Group 1 is the core of MBs, Massacre, AG paramedic and... Uhahu? I thought she'd be good in the link to get her up the board fast/safe and also have a decent chance of throwing out a couple repeaters early on. I've had good luck with the Hardcase in the past so wanted to include him, and the rest is fairly self-explanatory.

Group 2 - I really want to try Knauf out. I was going to drop the Cateran w/T2, but then remembered how much my opponent loves his Hollow Men and Puppets. I will probably keep her as my hold back to position opposite one of those groups and hopefully insta-kill KO a couple. The Hawwa is obviously there hack consoles and surprise attack with a BSG.

My big thought is "that's a lot of irregular orders", but I guess Starco is kind of an irregular army...

It went pretty well, with a 6-3 victory against JSA. Knauf did well, though he didn't get many sniper rifle shots off, he was a 100% deterrent (in the middle of my deployment on a rooftop looking over a large swath of the board center). I took initiative and went second, so JSA charged a Domaru and two Karakuri down my left side and smashed into my MB core. I messed up and waited to long to ARO with the Hardcase and Cateran by an action or two (I've generally revealed them TOO soon in the past, losing surprise shot, but in this case I should have started taking shots as soon as I could). All in all the MBs were great speed bumps though, and when the dust had settled JSA had basically used up all its orders on the charge and only killed Massacre (though both MBs were unconscious). On my turn Knauf shifted and used his Heavy pistol to finish off the karakuri, and then the AG paramedic healed back both MBs (though the Cateran was unconscious on a roof and out of reach).

Meanwhile my Irmandino, Bandit and Al'hawwa worked up the right side and activated that antenna while hugging cover. An Oniwaban showed up, but mostly just traded swings (couldn't hit him, but he couldn't get into a decisive melee against me). A Ninja appeared and activated the left antenna, but I had nothing that could get over there. Luckily Knauf was still standing guard on the rooftop, so the Ninja had no choice but to crawl around on her belly. Raoul walked on deep on the right flank (out of LoF), chucked a bear (didn't do much) but then moved into cover and basically just turned into a headache my opponent couldn't get rid of (and got me my Undermine classified, when I realized he counted as a Vet).

At the bottom of the 3rd round both flanks were drenched in blood, but the middle had wound up almost untouched (having Knauf, an ML and a flashbot just looking for targets was, again, a massive deterrent). Realizing this, and with us both low on orders, I walked my flashbot into contact with the tech-coffin and ended my turn. I could have tried to kill the Oniwaban on the right antenna, but honestly probably didn't have the orders, and I knew with uncontested control of the tech-coffin I'd won.

It was a good game. I often lose to alpha-strikes (MO's De Fersen is the bane of my existence), but I've learned to "keep my eye on the prize", which is rarely killing the enemy in ITS. I was sad that Massacre died, but it was to another CC god (Domaru, who was unwilling to bargain), so I can't really complain. My missile launcher never fired a shot, but was a super-cheap speed bump that probably won me the mid-field game. Knauf did not disappoint, whether it was covering, AROs, active turning sniping, or even pulling out his heavy pistol to blow away a karakuri in an alley. And the MBs newly discovered toughness was on full display (AV 8 in cover is no joke).

All-in-all for my first Starco game in N4, I was very happy with how it went. Cheers!

It's not really that much of a concern, a bandit killer hacker is kinda pointless and very ineffective compared to the terror it used to be, the brigada hacker in the fireteam is far more effective a deterrent for enemy hackers. Bandit is better off being the cheaper FO and running up the table to beat up those nerds for their lunch money, hell the hard case does it better and cheaper as a disposable attack piece to just trade for mary or the interventor, and it's not like its hard to just run through a TJC defensive line with a camo marker. I'd also be hesitant to add another Bandit, as going above 4 Irreg can be very rough and you will find yourself running real short on orders real fast.

EDIT: turning the bandit KHD into the FO would free up the points you need to turn the agggie medic in the fireteam into a daktari which is far more reliable.

Yeah, the Bandit in general just isn't as awesome as it used to be. I HATE the booty rules and the fact that it telegraphs what the camo marker is (and in the game I rolled and got... an ADHL... yay, can I stack it on top of the one I already had?!?)
Ironically, we did no hacking the whole game (I WAS facing JSA, instead of Tungunska, so...)

The AG Medic wound up working just fine (used MB's PH 14), but it was a bit of a gamble.

I mean sure but there are going to be those games where she decides to use the real pistol and just end what ever she looks at, its a 2 point increase for a lot of reliability on basically the same body to upgrade the medic to doctor

Yeah, for some reason I got it in my head that the Dak was JUST a Doctor, and didn't have a Medikit too. Not sure why... in future I'll almost definitely find the points.
