I see that symbiowhatevers can only be applied to models not in a marker state. What if I want to enter that state when I already have these attached. No I'm not trying to create a markered symbiobomber, game doesn't need that shit! Instead I want to know if its possible to drop the symbios if I want to enter the marker state if that is more useful for the trooper at the time (suprise attack, sneak past a firelane etc etc)
I don’t know why CB decided that IMP should prevent allocation of a symbiomate, but they left out the corresponding rules that would either prevent a model with a symbiomate entering IMP later in the game, or cause the symbiomate to be discarded in that case. Compare, if you will, the fireteam rules which proactively enforce their restrictions.
The only model that could be in IMP state with Symbiont Armor can only use Inf Impersonation, which does not allow the state to be gained if not deployed that way.
Wow, didn't realize IMP2 came with that - just heard "its IMP with only one level" and went with that. Never mind then.
