A bit of a corner cade has come up during a game, in which my opponent wanted to reposition Sheskiin when in engaged state with a Fusilier by Dodging and then executing a CC Attack. Is this possible as the rules are a little grey here....? Engaged State suggests you can only Dodge out of Silhouette Contact but the Dodge skill allows you to Dodge into Silhouette contact of an Enemy Trooper. Does the rule relating to Dodging to cancel Engaged State only apply, or can you declare a Dodge to move your Trooper to another position that is still in Silhouette Contact with the same Enemy Trooper it stated the Order Engaged with...? Guidance appreciated here! Thanks in advance!
yes, once you dodge out, you are free to then move as you wish; including free to engage another or the same model if the movement path ends with base contact. You cannot declare dodge+CC in a single order. (You also can't Dodge+Move as the dodge only happen at the end of the order) PS - if both model are dodging, the active model could dodge out of CC and then the reactive model could dodge to get back in CC.
