Perdón por el retraso, y por abrir tarde el hilo también...

It's not an April's fool, I'm pledging non CB stuff (and no, it's not some dragon).

This is a Accuser Interceptor/Persecutor Bomber from Mantic that I will definitely use as a scenery piece in Infinity.

I've finished the mold cleaning and glued a lots of magnet so I can easily change from transport to bomber. It will also ease its storage.

I'll stick with the original colors as it will still be used for its original purpose so it may be quite different from my Infinity models.

Finally, I didn't have as much time as I thought, incredibly I'm having a lot of work because of the corona, so I've made pretty little progress with my Kappa. The situation at the moment is this:
    abril01.png
The yellow have been a true nightmare, it have requiered thousand layers.

Also, to compensate I'm going to try some kind of fast painting with inks with this dronbot:

When working yellow or red or similar difficult colors, you can base the desired surfaces with a mid grey or a well covering white.

In addition to Koin-Koin's advise about painting the yellow over a white or grey, I would recommend an ochre colour or even a pink (!) as a first layer. The yellow goes on much easier after that. So, you're priming black, then paint the yellow sections white or grey, then a layer of ochre or pink, then yellow. Still lots of (thin) layers, but far less than painting yellow over black! Also, to remove a step, you can prime in white or grey.

Not sure if I'll keep it as it is or restart from start.
Anyway, here is how the Guijia Pilot turned out

The pics are not nice with it.
When holding it in my hand it looks quite decent. I'm even happy with some parts but there's so many reason to make it differently than I did.
Black was not worked at all (I should have did it first). I'm not able to work the blue the way I used to on my previous minis...

On the good side, I found half a paperclip so I will be able to prepare some minis I put aside. Beside, the staples use to close the Corvus Belli's blisters are strong enough to be used as pin material.

The bomber/dropship from Mantic I've started is taking more time than expected as I should wait a lot to be sure paint is properly cured before masking. I had to restart some pieces as I ripped everything at the masking tape removal step. But the first results are encouraging anyway.

Could you take a picture with some Infinity minis next to it? It looks really cool, i would like to see how it scales. Thank you!

I have some problems with skin painting. It was my first African origin skin painted ever. Effect is better than I expected.

Interesting tip from painting metallic - add some white to the final highlight, it will pop it up a little.

    That's the idea ;)
I tried to shoot it at a blank assembly stage but it's not stable enough without glue.

Quick blank assembly (more stable thanks to some paint layers).
Still a lot of miss and retouch to do but you get the idea.

My photo box is too small for this one so you'll get the messy desk and the poor light.

It's not quite the scale but it may do the trick on terrain.

Some progress (not on the messy desk) but still some works and a lots of masking issue to fix.

As it is quite plain I decide to do some decoration inside the drop-able compartment

    Only step missing : varnish.
But I'll have a global varnish party once other pieces are ready to join.

Working on a non-Infinity project at the moment but as I had to prep a base I did some for Infinity.
