Rules question: If you are in base contact with an unconscious enemy trooper during your move, but not at the end of the move, can you declare CC against it as your second short skill and do a "drive by" coup de grace?
Ok, thanks. What if the trooper starts in base contact with the unconscious enemy, and uses it's first skill to move away? Can it declare CC against that enemy trooper as it's second skill?
It kinda depends on when the enemy became unconscious "A Trooper's Engaged State is automatically cancelled if, in the Effects step of any Order, all enemies in Silhouette contact are in an Immobilized or Null (except Sepsitorized or Possessed) State."
The enemy was already unconscious from the prior order, so the active trooper was not in an engaged state at the start of the order. The situation arose because the active trooper wanted to move, but also wanted to remove the unconscious enemy completely, without taking the chance of a BS attack.
