If a Ratnik receives its first hit and the TAK player decides it to make it go Dogged, does the Ratnik go into the Dead state at the end of the Turn? Or does it go into the Battle Ravaged state? Rules as Written, I'd argue that the Ratnik dies at the end of the turn. But i wonder who would sacrifice this expensive trooper in that way unless there is a very specific reason.
Dogged can't be used until the trooper enters Unconscious state, so it would have to have taken two wounds, or already have been in Battle-Ravaged state.
Where's the unconscious state coming from? You lose 1W, you go to battle ravaged, you lose another, you go Unconscious, and you can turn on dogged.
the first profile has the dogged state as well. So it is imaginable that a player whose Ratnik takes a hit would decide it goes into the Dogged state. This way the Ratnik keeps the better profile for the remainder of the Turn, but will be removed no matter what at the end of the Turn. IJW is usually right in his rules interpretations, but in this case I wonder why there is the Dogged state on both profiles.
Because the Battle-Ravaged profile doesn't apply to the end of the Order, and the Full Power profile might take two Wounds in one Order. If the Full Power profile didn't have Dogged, the trooper would simply fall Unconscious with no chance to use Dogged. Also, it's what gives the Full Power profile V: Courage.
Lo-Tech is an obligatory, automatic skill. When the Ratnik loses the last wound on the Full Power profile, you must move to Battle Ravaged, rather than triggering Dogged.
