Simple one really, if a TAG is null or dead. Can you consider that a specialist kill if the pilot profile is a specialist?

Bullet 5 of the pilot skill might imply no. But then specifically says unconscious, which doesn't cover how unconscious models are considered dead at the end of missions for "other purposes".
The bullet also seems strange given pilots don't cost any points for victory points or retreat purposes anyway?

    PILOT AUTOMATIC SKILL
    Obligatory.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • This Special Skill activates only when the user deploys on the game table.
    EFFECTS
    • This Special Skill allows the user to use an alternative Troop Profile.
    • This Pilot Troop Profile is usable only after the trooper declares a Move Short Skill and specifies he will use it to Dismount his Manned TAG or Vehicle.
    • The Pilot Troop Profile may also activate as a result of a successful enemy Hacking Program with that Effect.
    • The Pilot of an Unconscious Vehicle or TAG generates no Orders for himself or for his Order Pool.
    • The Pilot of an Unconscious Vehicle or TAG is not considered either as a survivor or a casualty for Victory Points, Retreat! or any other purposes.

    No.

Killing a disembarked pilot or remote pilot would count, but the TAG is not a specialist.

TAG is not a specialist. Pilot is.
If the TAG is killed before specialist gets out, no specialist kill.
Specialist profile ONLY becomes "active" when that pilot is out of the can. Kill that specialist, get that point.
