I think I found something I haven't seen mentioned before, I was under the impression that Dodging into CC would be rare because Dodging as the Second Short Skill would trigger AROs even if you has Stealth but it never donned on me to declare Dodge as the First Short Skill. This really only works for troops who can MOV 6 and Dodge 4 and have stealth. So declare Dodge as the First Short Skill out of LoF and out of ZoC. No AROs granted. - Perfectly legal. Mov 6" with Stealth staying out of LoF but penetrating ZoC. No ARO. -Perfectly legal because the clause in Stealth for granting AROs inside ZoC reads "However, if the second Short Skill of the Order is any non-Movement Skill, then those enemies can react normally in ARO." Resolution of order allows troops who move like Domaru for example to Engage via Dodge and did not grant AROs as many had believed before. Though, it will require expert measuring with your eyeball.
This has already been addressed in other threads. It doesn't hold up to application of the "all at once" rule. If you dodge first and then move into ZoC, you still count as having dodged within their ZoC and will break stealth.
Can you point me in the direction I haven't seen that thread and was the all at once rule that was referred to. I know in conclusion the order is all happening at the same time. I'm hoping it's not just consensus opinion by several prominent members as a Rules As Intended > Rules As Written sort situation and that there is something clearly overriding this or at least an official word from CB.
It's come up a couple of times, but I think this thread addresses it the most directly. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/dodging-move-without-any-aros-stealth-loop-hole.37997/
Thank you for providing the link, someone else had mentioned a crazy idea in there and it pointed me in the direction I needed help clear up what people seemed to had been getting wrong. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...any-aros-stealth-loop-hole.37997/#post-394839
