I've seen lots and lots of players on these forums suggest that Puppets in a Puppetactica Control Unit are getting the +1B Haris fireteam bonus, but I can't find any evidence in the rules that states that the Control Unit is a Haris and gets its bonuses.

The only mention is under Peripheral where it says "Peripherals and their Controller cannot be part of a Coordinated Order nor be a member of any type of Fireteam."

So, if you bring three puppets and they form a Control Unit and that Control Unit gets Haris bonuses, where is that in the rules?

    Thanks

It's in the N3 rules, N4 changed how they work and they are now Peripherals.

Okay, so they no longer get the Haris bonuses, right?

    They don't.

That said, they did gain the new N4 special skill "BS Attack (+1B)" which gives them a +1B bonus.

On the Active Turn only though.

Yeah that is what I was trying to find out before posting, but clicking on the special skill in Army to bring it up in wiki. And even looking for burst modifiers in wiki. I couldn't find the info. I found a line that says that B is reduced to 1 during reactive except for some special skill, but no indication if "BS Attack(+1B)" in the "Special Skills" section of the loadout is actually such a case or if it wasn't such a case. Meh :(

Thank you for clarifying it though.

It's part of the core rules for modifiers, Burst Mods only apply on the Active Turn and don't stack unless explicitly stated otherwise (E.G. Martial Arts Lvl 5 or 3+ member Fireteam on the Active Turn)

    Thank you.

    Compare with https://infinitythewiki.com/MODs
It talks about modifiers in unit profiles but they left out the important box.

so in the end there is two core rule for modifiers, the one in Skills/Equipment and the one that redirects to Rolls. Guess what happens when you click the word MODs on the website ? It redirects to the Rolls subsection. That explains why it was hard for me to find the correct rule.
