When Trooper A moves and gets a direkt template from Trooper B as an ARO, which also hits Trooper C (a friendly of Trooper A), can C declare a dodge because he was hit by a template weapon ?
The rules about templates say that every trooper effected by a template can doge, but a friend insists that Trooper C could not dodge because he is in the active team. Which I think does not make much sense, but I am not surre what the rules imply.
Can anyone clarify this for me ?

If this was already asked in another thread I am sorry, but I could not find anything on this.

Your friend is correct. Trooper C cannot declare an ARO Dodge - under ARO in the wiki it says:
Troopers cannot react to AROs, since only the Active Player's Orders give AROs and only the Reactive Player can declare AROs.

That's a shame, but thanks for clearing this up.
