    Hello,

I'm currently in the early stages of developing an app for android to use for army construction and gameplay. But the task of putting all the unit profiles into a database is a daunting task. Does anyone know of a unit profile database out there?

Mayacast app for iOS is using one ?

Not want to sound negative/dismissing but what would be a point of such an app if we already have one from CB ?

I'd like an App for hacking (like Cpt Spuds excellent webpage) and rules/weapon reference that works offline, please.
Army composition is well covered by the official app.

Captain Spud's hacking helper is a webapp, just save it to the homescreen and it will work without a net connection.

I have some problem with the app and how it presents thing and also I would like a better integration with the wiki so I'm just trying to take matters into my own hands. I feel as though MayaNet gives Apple users way more options than Android users as well.

Looking forward to this! I cannot help in anyway but I can't stand CB's official web app, and would love an offline one for Android :D

MayaCast is a podcast that is not affiliated with the app MayaNet in any way. @toadchild currently holds the reigns on the iPad app MayaNet, and I personally think it's the best Infinity builder out there. I don't know if his unit database is in a shareable format or anything.

Some of the data is in a slightly weird format for historical reasons, but the data I use for MayaNet and my dice calculator can be found here: https://bitbucket.org/cgordon13/infinitydata/branch/mayanet_hsn3 The main branch is currently way behind, but I keep my data on the mayanet one.

Also please feel free to PM or email me if you have any questions.

If you want a head start, I created a working version a while back. It's still in Beta, but the source is GPL v3, so feel free to use it if you like.

Old forums thread about it: infinitytheforums.com/forum/topic/30552-infinity-android/?page=1

Available on the Play store (data is out of date): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgordon.infinityandroid

Send me a PM if you have any questions about it. Good luck!

You might as well merge your changes into master. You're the only one working on it at the moment.

Yep, I've done that since then.

Sorry your project seems to have fizzled out, though. Your help getting the data cleaned up was really appreciated!

If you want a data base with all profiles, you are f***ked.

You must do it yourself, with your hands, pen and paper.

Maybe CB send you a excel document with profile troops...

The Mayanet project and my (abandoned) Android project used a set of shared JSON data files. They are located here: https://bitbucket.org/toadchild/infinitydata

    ToadChild still maintains them.

Crazy idea here, but has anyone considered an app that generates a command board? If you could load (or even create) a list in it, and it would then generate a command board so you can track order use during the game, that would be even better.

The CB app does exactly that...
